Tim, Emma, and Sam from Bohemian Adventurers set up and review the
ENO Junglenest hammock and show of the new features to the integrated bug net and simple spreader bar design. This hammock is a great option for those looking into a simple, easy, lightweight design that doesn't break the bank OR your back!

I just have the profly xl tarp that i pivked up on marketplace. This thing is amazing. Im keeping an eye out for a good used hammock. I just use the tarp over my 80$ amazon tent and it gives me a nice dry area for cooking or just relaxing. I havent even pulled out the tent fly yet and just enjoy the full mesh ventillation in a rain storm.

We live full-time in an RV I'm traveling Camp a lot. We talked about sleeping outside in our hammocks with the bugs usually drive us inside. This might open up some more possibilities for us. We also have a KZfaq channel if you want to check us out. Our KZfaq channel focuses on our life in the RV and camping and hiking and lots of active fun and hiking and playing in water xcetera

My only concern with bug nets like this is mosquitos can tear you up right through the hammock itself on the bottom. I prefer a full bug net.

Got an eno set up myself and love it, but I use an underblanket(amazonas) after trying various pads and blanket combos and always waking up with the pad/blanket only keeping my feet warm! No such issues with an underblanket👍

looks like a version of the whoopie sling with the plastic toggles which eliminate the process of figuring them out every summer after a few months of not thinking about them (whoopie slings without the wee toggles can be confusing)

Can you do a video on repacking it. I am still fiddling with best way to re-pack the spreader bar.
@BohemianAdventurers
@BohemianAdventurers 3 жыл бұрын
I pack the hammock in the stuff sack first then I kind of guide the spreader bar down the between the sack and the hammock inside. The trick is just to be careful so it doesn't catch on the hammock. I wish ENO would have added an external sleeve or something for the spreader bar. It one of my only criticisms and I ageee it takes some fiddling!!

Thanks alot for this great review! Just feel like you're missing the comfort side of the review. You don't really talk about maximum length of the user, how the lay is and such. I like the hammock, but i still haven't figured out if it has an flat lay or an banana lay. I'm currently looking at this hammock and the hennessy expedition asym zip, witch as as so called a-sym shape witch will give the user an flat lay. Is this also the case with the eno junglenest? Also i was wondering how is it just chilling in the hammock? Like sitting or rocking the hammock. Will it snap? Not sure if you have any experience with the hennessy expedition asym zip, but witch would you recommend between that one and this one? Thanks again for an amazing review! :D

Thanks for the feedback!! I should have talked in more detail abot how comfortable it is! I can say that it is TRULY comfortable on many levels. It is indeed designed for a diagonal or flat lay and its super comfy even if you are someone like myself who rolls around a lot. I sleep generally on my side and its great! In regards to the Henessey hammock, I haven't tried it but I can tell you the ENO is very sturdy and great for just sitting in as well. My favorite feature is the simplicity of the integrated bug net. Its like a nice fort inside and doesn't feel cramped. I highly recommend this hammock! Thanks for watching!

@@hikingwithbuckley7486 Thanks, this is exactly the information that was missing :) I'm around 6 foot, and weigh around 80kg. The hammock seems perfect! This is probably a weird question, but is it possible to rock the hammock? I've gotten used to just sitting and rocking in my previous hammock, so i was just wondering if this one would hold it up. I think it's rated for 136kg, so by physics it should hold up, anyways a huge tip for your next video would be talking more about the main usage of the item. So in this case it's an hammock witch is made for sleeping or relaxing. So just go more in depth about comfort, how it is to use it in wind, how it is to use it in wind, who its rated for, what it's missing and so fourth. If you manage to fit all or some of these in the next video it will be great! :D
