Not loving how this contest was set up. There should be a way for contestants to link their entry to Keen.... there should have been a "design" time heads up... there should have been much more time given to build.... and should have had the option of multiple social media platforms to post an entry. This feels very spur of the moment. I don't have a twitter/x account... and have no intention of getting one. Having said all that; awesome job on the bridge!!!

Thank you so much but unfortunately no, t doesn't seem as if I was chosen as one of the top 25 builds that will be judged for the 13 cash prizes. I'm still uncertain that the 3rd party Company doing said selection was able to view ALL entries, including those like mine who were new twitter accounts that twitter didn't allow to be publicly viewable. It is what it is and hoopefully Keen Games learns from the problems this contest had.

I really liked the overgrown mine! That's my favorite part of the build. I also really enjoyed how you utilized the basic furniture to make new and interesting things. I've seen some of your videos on those innovations (not all of them yet, but working on it) and plan to use some of those in my own builds. Currently, I am working on restoring Harvest Homestead, and after that I want to customize it.

Thank you and yeah, after building another Crane in there, that gave me the idea to dig a whole under it that the Luminescent Growth would be growing up out of. It seemed to fit right.

Amazing Build. I didn't start to play the game until after the contest, but I love the building in this game and all your videos have sparked the creativity in me to make my base the most amazing build I can. I Know the hours it took to get here and just WOW! Thanks for sharing.

Well color me surprised, you actually managed to fit most of the necessary stuff in there and even give every single companion his own little place! A bit cramped maybe but still well done.

A bit cramped is maybe an understatement lol. The challenge of the build WAS fitting everything for all 5 NPC's and everything I need as a Player, and making feel "lived in" and cozy.

@@delindsay I wanna do a "hidden cave fortress" next, in one of the larger mountain pillars/mesas. With a focus on realism and a narrative history. Originally an ore mine when particularly rich veins were found in relatively soft rock, which were then expanded by the miners as processing, storage and barracks. Then when they dug further, expansive natural caves with a springwell were found, which on orders of the local ruler were then built out as a fortified emergency shelter and secret treasury when the Shroud began to spread. The Flameborn then found it and expanded it as a hidden sanctuary high above where the Shround could never reach. The idea is, to make it a natural looking multi-level build which looks as stealthy and unassuming from the outside as possible but features all the necessary facilities to house quite a few of people (essentially making it a small town) and be extremely defensible as well as almost self sufficient with hidden farms, workshops and ample ventilation.

There's 4 Bathrooms in this base from almost the lowest point to almost the highest point.

It does indeed, and a lot of us are in the same boat. Worst is, even though Keen admitted yesterday they now about the issue, they've said nothing on twitter about it. What's going to happen to all the people who DON'T use Discord and DON'T know their Contest entry will NEVER be seen? The entire thing was handled very poorly.

@@delindsay Well, I guess that's me. I also had to make a Twitter account for this, and I don't participate in Discord unless absolutely necessary. Too late now, I suppose. I thought the reason they chose Twitter was because hashtags are searchable there... which is why hashtags exist... meh. Cool idea, horribly implemented. Good job on your entry though. Good Luck!

@@preechrThanks and yeah, I've been quite vocal about the issue to help EVERYONE involved, even to my own detriment as one of the CM's was pretty pissed at me for being so forceful with my comments.
