This song and riding a motorcycle through the mountains of northern Norway is such a vibe. It's never coming off my roadtripping playlists after that.

Enslaved is one of the most original and interesting bands out there. Try some of their original stuff, The Watcher, Path to Vanir or Isa

Saw these guys playing in what used to be a pub in London with High on Fire back in 2018. Great show. Saw Einar Selvik a few months later with basically all of them as his backing band to and that was great.

You're not very far off on your pronounciation of Röyksopp. It's also worth noting that in the original, the vocals are done by Karin Dreijer Andersson, who is part of the great duo The Knife from Sweden, and she also has a solo project called Fever Ray.

Röyksopp is a brilliant band, though I'm not a big fan myself. Good cover, and I encourage you to check out some original Enslaved songs.

I wasn't sure what to think.....then the growl/scream came in and I was sold!! Also on a side note I am also on a diet. I intake about 4500 calories a day!! 🤣

I liked the layered vocals as well. Still unique to have the growl / scream over a singing tone. Usually the other vocal tracks are whispers or just a normal talking voice. Cool song too. I'll also have to check out the original now.

Strange sound..... like if somebody added metal sound to 90´s band New Order.... kind of liked it though ps. Röyksopp = puffball mushroom..... röyk = smoke, sopp is a mushroom family

I have liked Enslaved for a long time, and this cover is awesome, but I actually prefer Röyksopp's version sung by Karin Dreijer, aka Fever Ray.

You should definitely listen and/or react to „Gravedigger“ or „Doomsday“ by ARCHITECTS. It would be nice to hear/see more New Metal on your channel. Keep up with your amazing reactions and stay save.
