I'm Never Going To Forget Him, ever since I was a kid I've been watching Him Work his magic and 31 years later the amazing Jonathan Still puts a smile on my face without Fail.

At least he can say he had a wonderful life. It's a shame to hear about his condition though. His act was brilliant.

i met john twice in my life. i feel like i lost a friend today. i'll never stop missing john.

It's July of 2017 and he is starting to tour again.

Oh my God.... i cried with him. I even knew his condition before watching. I always loved his act. He added alot of good laughter to my life.

That's a damn shame. I loved watching Johnathan so much when I was a kid. I loved his comedy mixed with darkness and danger, which was unlike any comedy I had seen before or after.

This is heart wrenching..we are all going to go . But very few of us can say we have made people laugh the way he did . That is a gift ... ...making others happy for a even a moment or two...now that is something to be praised . We will see you on the other side my friend . Thank you for your ability to make us happy,,,and forget our problems for even a brief interlude....

Among the dozens of comedians whose specials ran often on Comedy Central these last thirty years, a few of whom we old-timers might even recall from A & E's An Evening at the Improv way back in the late 1980s, few were as memorable as The Amazing Johnathan who, with his trusty sidekick "Psychic Tanya" (Penny Wiggins), who played the warbling ditzy blonde to knockabout vaudeville perfection, was among the good-natured shock jocks of his trade, blending magic, mischief and madcap mayhem in riotous abundance. We his fans shall miss him.

it makes me happy that he beat the the terminal diagnosis and lived to 63!! relatively not a terrible age to pass.

My son is 27 and he was diagnosed with hypertrophic cardiomyopathy a few years ago. He now has a defibrillator surgically implanted in his body. Scary shit.. hug your loved ones, life is short!

Amazing Johnathan, you kindled my love for magic in my younger years I can't say enough, how much you made me laugh over the years. I am very glad that you have so much in your life. Thank you for filling the world with more laughter and entertainment.

My mother introduced me to Mr Amazing because I had a passion for comedy magic in school. (I felt Jonathan's pain of not fitting in) You could watch him do the same tricks and the same jokes, and it NEVER got old!

Such an honest person deserved so much more than we gave him. He was a big part of my life and now that he's gone, you realize just how much a stranger can mean to you.

One of the zaniest, most rapidfire hilarious entertainers I've ever seen. I don't know if he reads this, but I've told a lot of people about him and even I didn't even know he had the medical issues until just a few weeks ago. He has given so much to the world with his talent and humor. God, please bless Johnathan in every possible way, and heal him in a way that shows Your power.

This guy was always one of my favorite comedians. I'm really sorry to hear that things have gone so badly for him. I heard recently that Gallagher isn't doing well, either. What is it about comedians that they either seem to get huge, or die broken and penniless?

He made the most of the time he had left. Some pass without warning so it is comforting to know he got his affairs in order and said his goodbyes and told people he loved them. RIP. Hope "the other side" is exactly what you envisioned! That's what I hope for all of us.

This is such a shame. I first saw the Amazing Jonathan on an Australian TV show called "Hey Hey it's Saturday". I remember everyone laughing so hard in the audience. My father and I were in hysterics. The funniest thing he did that night was an act where he was going to throw a hammer in the air and then catch it on his nose, like a seal would at a sea park show, and it hit him smack in the face. That was it, the audience lost it, the vesuvius eruption of laughter from everyone. The entire crew of the show couldn't continue for at least a couple of minutes because they were laughing so much. I'll never forget that. Thank you Jonathan for making me laugh. An incredible individual.

I know my dad has/had congestive heart failure, hes still alive but possibly not for a whole lot longer, but yea like amazing johnathan all good things have to come to an end :( Kind of reminds me of when steve irwin died, I was pretty young at the time and cried my ass off because it was one of the first times I actually understood what death was. Anyway its good to see he is really still alive and making the most of whatever time he has left, hopefully I wont be a complete mess during work today. Going through some tough times n me n my wife are trying to find a place to stay, maybe some time later I'll find this again and comment about how we found place :)

I saw AJ do his sharp pencil act. I thought "that's easy". It's not !! I now walk around with a pencil embedded through an eardrum. One out the top of a nostril. One in the back of my throat. The doctors said "The're non life threatening! For being such an idiot, I think we'll leave them there". I wonder how he did that ??
