Dan Sylvester. Without doubt one the most original magicians ever. Awesome.

i started out as 1 of those people just trying to see how a trick was done. then i started to see the ungodly amount of practice and time it takes magicians to hide the method. the amount of respect i have for these guys and girls is well deserved. then i saw danny sylvester. the dedication he puts into this character is amazing. no disrespect meant when i say that some of the "tricks" looked simple. simple until you see what it takes to perfect it like danny sylvester has. thanks for what you (and johnathan) do.

I spent an afternoon with Sylvester at my local magic shop last week. He’s such an awesome person and a real cartoon. It was a true honor.

I miss hanging out with Danny at Bob's Big Boy in beautiful downtown Cerritos in the mid-80s. That was before Danny transformed into Sylvester the Jester. The man is pure genius. Love you, Danny!

This is my first time seeing the "Burn Unit" - I subscribed immediately. Dan Sylvester is very creative. I first saw him live at an Abbotts Convention. I was disappointed by the cameramen in the first Monaco special. Some of the shots were too close for the maximum effect. Thanks Johnathan for the interview and bits with Dan. Dan's Pitch has more variations than I imagined (when exposed at Monaco). I started doing the basic version to produce an unabridged dictionary back in 1964, I may have "invented it" (likely before you guys were born), but Dan has expanded and perfected it. Great work Dan.

I knew he was pressing different parts of his body for the sound effects but to be shown the actual thing is pretty mint. I won't forget watching these guys on TV when I was about 10.

I've been a huge fan of yours for years. I recently discovered Danny Sylvester and find myself wondering "how the hell did I never see this guy before ?" I think he has an incredibly funny act just like you do. I want to thank you guys for your amazingly funny and entertaining acts. That instamallet is epic. You guys are epic. I will now be looking for more of his videos on youtube and subscribing to you both. Thank you Johnathan.

That kind of ruined my childhood a little bit (facetious.) I knew AJ was messed up but I thought Sylvester the Jester was a wholesome, kid friendly, cartoon oriented magician. I guess it is good to know the person behind the character. I'm gonna find Sylvester's Pitch (Inertia Pass) to purchase, practice, and use it in my coin routines. It is really cool to learn that Sylvester the Jester invented that move. I would rather have my money go to the inventor than to some guy who probably bought Sylvester's DVD (or VHS back in the day) and is trying to teach the moves himself.

The finger thing... how. Don't see that one on his site. I can understand how he does the pinky one, but the fourth finger? He must have some insane finger flexibility or something
