"Helps in Baron Seal 2nd half" is more than what most collab units usually achieve. He's not fantastic, but he's usable.

That multi hit is so weird But tbh I kinda love it. It’s a very unique kind of attacker. Wish it was an anti zombie though. Maybe instead of anti alien

Pretty Goffy Unit, but I can't deny that 19k DPS on Baron Seal tho. At least it's unique and Usable, instead of boring and useless.

@@Aropynix The gacha Metal Slug games have other forms such as Sol Dae Rokker Anima and Celestial Ruler Rokker. Edit: Also, PONOS could give Sol Dae Rokker increased attack rate for his True Form, just like the in game when he's Red/Mad. Attack Increase while below 30% Talent? ( Please PONOS ).

I wonder if some form of unit with higher standing range then attack reach could be viable, because the concept of having to precisely control the ground sounds like a very interesting mechanic. for example, how would this unit be if all attacks where condensed to the second range?

I mean, sure the laser is INDEED Sol Dae Rokker's most iconic attack, but they had all the opportunities to have such a better unit... As an easy exemple, they could have used its spirit wolf missile attack to make it have a regular range with multihit, or even better, LD range, but nah.... I mean atleast you can praise Ponos for not succumbing to powercreep every new unit and returning collab, but I find it so weird how they just make either incredibly stupid priority decisions, such as adding 4th forms after ultra talents, and making 4th forms uber only for now, and also making some new ubers just very inconvinient to use compared to old units being just plainly good (windy getting her 4th form being JUST a nuker with long range, and big stats, the only special thing being her insane dmg ability) and directly dumped into the "Wait until it gets a TF to be viable or wait until Talents" tier... All in all it makes it hard to want to pull for anything except the evangelion and Fate collabs for the OP ubers and just relegate these as collection fodder...

its even more baffling that in MS defense/attack sol dae rokker's melee attack was just a regular sweep from his position foward and backward, not any of this weird move foward then sweep backward thing

I think the devs just followed this type of attack pattern in Metal Slug 3 where when it starts "breathing fire" it always starts at the left then to the right.

Fun Fact: Sol Dae Rokker's unevolved color scheme is his "deactivated phase" when it is defeated. Edit: And also it's a shame that PONOS did use its' "wolf projectile" attack. Think of the possibilities if its' attack was the "spirit wolf" projectile thing, it could had have long-distance as its' ability that might work well with its' massive damage to angel, alien, and red along with colossus slayer.
