I think Kenneth wanted an all-expenses paid free vacation. He was never really into Brittany. He was never physically attracted to her. Ken checked out after he had that conversation with AD. His behavior changed, his attentiveness ended. He did not want t to face the challenges of being in an inter-racial relationship. He didn’t admit that he was checked out of the relationship and didn’t give her the closure she needed. Didn’t even comfort her when she was crying. Twisted her conversation from her speaking up her needs to her telling him she was done, which she wasn’t. He should at least be honest.

Him acting like she broke up with him is actively making my brain wanna explode. Either the show was edited to not reflect that, or he has really done mental gymnastics in order to believe that she was breaking up w him instead of just asking for recommitment

I do want to give him grace just for the following reasons: I had no idea he was 25. Idk how I missed it but man looks 37 lol and honestly I don’t think anyone that young should really be in this show. I’m gonna be sexist for a minute but especially men. Second, I being Hispanic KNOW how much your family can have influence in your decision. Even with them not being around. I kept a relationship hidden for almost a year. We’re still together and of course I acted differently and put effort but I actually broke up with them like 3 times at first because I was terrified of how to come out to my family. Not comparing coming out gay to your parents to telling your black family that you are dating a white person but I have read in some comments that apparently it can be almost as hard. So not saying he’s right. He should have not treated her that way. I also don’t know how much of the edits by producers is affecting what we see but I do think Britney deserves way better and more. I personally loved Britney from WHAT I SAW. Because who knows once this is done and more stuff come out and we see the reunion etc. Remember season one the guy Jessica (that we all hated) was dating and everyone loved him? Apparently he had a gf while on the show so we never know.
