Wayne Brady sits down with ET's Nischelle Turner to reflect on the reaction to his coming out as pansexual, a confession he made in August. The 'Let's Make a Deal' host explains what it means and what he hopes people take away from seeing him live his life authentically. He also opens up about his blended family, co-parenting his now-20-year-old daughter, Maile, with his ex-wife, Mandie Taketa, and her life partner, Jason Fordham. Brady appears weekdays on 'Let's Make a Deal,' airing on CBS, is set to headline a new Hulu reality series and will soon return to Broadway in 'The Wiz.'

Damn, when I was young I had a crush on him in the early 2000s and realise a pattern, because I also crushed on Wentworth Miller and the Australian former swimmer Ian Thorpe, who both came out as gay. Wayne has struggled with mental health for a long time and felt like he didn't want to live even though he has his daughter, so whilst all this range of preferences is hard to keep up with for some of us, I hope he's happier being himself now. I still think Wayne is funny and sexy especially with his beard.

This is why we heterosexual need to let people be free. I don’t agree with the brainwashing young kids about their gender. Maybe he was sexually assaulted as a child like so many lgbtq. I hope he finds a doctor that is experienced and gives him the therapy he needs to be in a place where he’s comfortable with his sexuality.

Wayne is such a likeable man and loved him for years WLISA and guest starring om How I met your father. He is a funny man, very sharp and quick witted. I hope he is happier now after really struggling a few years ago. He is an attractive man to me, humour, down to earth, likeable, seems a kind man and gorgeous brown eyes. ❤

I always thought he was gay. And that doesn’t matter to me. I do think that if you’re a man and you’re having sex with man. You’re a gay me. Because I know men who are very very comfortable with their sexuality, but they just would never touch a man they just want attracted to men they love women the way a gay man loves men so the bottom line is, it doesn’t work if you really are gay and you’re going with the pansexual thing because you think you’ll land softer you actually want because at the end of the day it makes people even more afraid of you. Because ultimately, it’s not the sex that makes it bad or unbearable. It’s the shame that you carry.
