All of this should be a video game also to be honest, you start off as a young blood, then you work your way up by traveling to different planets around the galaxy and hunt various/myriad of creatures! And depending on how dangerous they are, your rank drastically increases with each hunt and you get to customize yourself/predator with different outfits, weapons, gadgets etc. an open world/galaxy game, living life as yautja from young blood to being one of the strongest and deadliest hunters in the galaxy! You can build and customize your ship and hang your trophies on various parts of the ship as well!

I honestly think that in a primal way, Yautja are beautiful like a T-Rex for example. You can immediately see they're dangerous but have that lizard beauty to them.

I was genuinely surprised when you mentioned that they may get stronger with age sense that is the case but everyone says the opposite for some reason and I don't know why. However an ancient is well past 1000, that is an elder, ancients are around the 10000 mark usually. The blooding ritual takes place around 100 years old, and their child state is about 40 years.

When it comes to the mandibles, I always assumed that they were an evolutionary holdover from some point much earlier in their history. They were probably essential for hunting at some point before they were bipedal, intelligent creatures. Sort of like how human being still have a tailbone, even though we no longer have tails.

I like to think that once a Yautja reaches upper middle age , they turn from Hunter to enforcer, so they have a period in their lives to pass judgement and execute that judgement. It’s part of becoming a respectable elder.

What Yautja are responsible for engineering, science, building of the space ships and weapons etc? Can’t have technology either the advanced weaponry and the space ships capable of interstellar travel etc without science. Just curious if they have a class of Yautja that are more scientist, engineers than warriors whose main job is for building the ships, weapons, medical equipment etc.

Tho I love yautja lore…the more I learn about them the more I’m disappointed with the writers of this brilliant creatures…there’s a lot of missed opportunity with these guys!! Xenomorphs should be really only for the younger/less experienced hunters of the yautja and the older ones should be hunting more tougher and sophisticated prey. Xenos are cool and all but it’s kinda like once you killed a few of em then you should pretty much have them down cuz besides then slithering in vents and their acid blood… they’re pretty straight forward so to make them be the yautja main hunt is kinda a let down and yautja that are more technologically advanced and has way more years of combat experience shouldn’t be getting bodied by humans let’s be realistic here
