2 ай бұрынOn 10/15/2022, an officer was working security when he observed a man urinating in the middle of the road. Police take the man into custody and his girlfriend eventually shows up. The man becomes argumentative and threatening towards officers. The man believes his connections to law enforcement will get him out of this one, but the police aren't convinced. In the end, this couple gets a much needed reality check about dealing with law enforcement.

His "uncle" Dan Roth, is a real Lt Colonel in the USAF based out of Florida, but he doesn't hold power over the state or government. He's a senior technical advisor to the Air Force, and I doubt this douche is his nephew anyway. If he is, I am sure Roth is utterly humiliated by his action and dropping his name like that.

@JDBodine Right?! If anything, Cody should be the one worrying. Not sure if it’s still like this, but I remember hearing that peeing in public would get you on the s offender registry. (I was in school for massage therapy and a guy was overheard by our instructor that he had peed outside a bar the other night. The instructor told him he’s lucky he didn’t get caught because it could have put him on the registry, which would mean he couldn’t be a massage therapist and he’d wasted all of his tuition.)

Many, many years ago I was a highway patrol officer. While transporting a prisoner to jail, he kept shouting that he would have my badge! I hit the point where he got to me, so I took off my badge, and threw it at him, saying, if you want my badge, here it is. He was handcuffed behind his back because it is our policy. He shut up instantly, but said, “ you ain’t right “, but was quiet for the rest of the transport! He didn’t get my badge, but he did get three years in prison.

@@STORMY0O My Dad was a police officer from right after World War 2 through the 1980s. Sadly, this behavior isn't new. Also sadly,, in some cases, parenting is a factor, but not all. Serious personality or emotional disorders can drive some of these individuals' behaviors despite their parents' best efforts. I've worked with families in this situation and it's heartbreaking. Thanks for your concern for what they deal with. I remember growing up and wondering if Dad was going to come home.
