Storytime; I was friends with this girl for around 2 years, as she was dating a guy I know. She was into me I could tell but I don't bang other guys girlfriends. Anyways they broke up, I asked her out 2 months later. We originally said just hook ups, but she fell hard and wanted to go steady after a month. I told her there was conditions. Laid out my conditions, for example, needs to communicate her problems to me not just be a woman and give me smoke signals. 2 months later she starts saying she wants a break. Waits til that moment to tell me the things she didn't like. She wanted to keep talking to me during "the break". I knew it was a breakup in my head so I got frustrated and told her to stop playing games. It's a breakup. Agree with Rich, space or a break is a breakup. And on that note too. Trust your intuition. If you think a girl is not dating material just keep her on casual mode. Don't fall for the dating thing.

This is actually how my mother treated her boyfriend/boyfriends. She always wanted "some space". Meaning she was meeting them over dinner and a few hours after that. And I could see how those guys suffered. She was extremely attractive until her 50's (Slavic woman). Well, now she's alone... To be fair she spent 20 years in abusive violent marriage with my psychotic sadistic father so this might be the reason she has no respect for men. And to be fair my father was an extremely attractive selfish alpha male and she always came back to him. A shit show, what can I tell ya...

Wake up for me was when my ex-partner set up another Instagram account to support her side business. "OK I'll follow you to help raise the profile", says I, no I want to keep this private was the response. Now I get exactly what was really up.

"needing space" is legit when one is being smothered (aka: she's taking off your purpose). If you aren't smothering her, needing "space" means a ticket to the friend zone (as she wants to 'pursue' other options and keep you in 'tow' until she monkey branches successfully... that may take a while but don't hang around till she does). I'm a big believer in 'detanglement' when it's over for you. That means you don't immediately respond to texts or make regular calls (none of that 'being available' to her privileges anymore... no more 'relationship' privileges... cut her off). Either she will 'adjust' to it or not adjust to it and you may have to ghost her just to let her spin that out and move on with her life as you've already accepted the situation and moved on. This lady can't 'detangle' herself from her ex AND that guy that's not talking to her (ghosting is not just a 'week' of 'no contact' but could be the start of 'ghosting' which is a much longer process). I have to say something about "we need to talk" stuff. That means 'she' needs to talk... not you (there is no 'we' in 'need to talk'). Don't do it when put on the spot but you can schedule it for later when you've collected your thoughts. That's proved very useful in life as it de-escallates the situation and you may not even want to make the investment (she may just need to talk to a therapist as you are 'out' already). Anyway, don't let women pressure you into "we (actually "she") needs to talk"... especially if you are done with the 'mess' (that's the next guys burden, your done so stop paying for it like it's still your 'burden').

I envy this 21 years old guy, he have all this knowledge now. I was so hopelessly disney blue pilled at 21. 32 now, 10 wasted years, I am still in the rage phase for belevieng all this crap.

I gave it to her and had someone else in my bed that night. She came to understand that any request for "space" was a welcome opportunity for me to spin another plate. I remember asking her at one point, "don't you need space?" when I had a particularly good prospect on the hook. We didn't last long obviously. I met a sane, feminine woman and got on with a red pill frame relationship. She loves it, she's like "don't tell anyone" lol lol.

I've had the "I need some space" thing, my instant response pre Red Pill was: ok, what's his name? I asked this again & again till she eventually spits it out. To me this phrase automatically means there's another dude. Currently if a girl does that to me, I just break it off and neve try to contact her again, 0 attention for that girl, won't waste any more time on her. As for the long distance & twitch thot. I roughly have a similar experience. I used to play this MMO (just online game, like world of warcraft), that particular game had mostly female players and in our clan, we had a server where we could talk (microphones, etc.. to do quests and other shit) I got along very well with most clan members, some girls I talked to pretty regularly. Now this one girl, I then knew for years online and I had to go work in her town for a day, since it was quite the distance, I told her: let's hang out after work, she said: sure. Note this is pre Red Pill, I went into this to meet "a friend". Considering how she was dressed, she had other ideas, it was classy, but really sexy, she clearly wanted to catch my eye and she did. Here's the funny thing, she broke up with her old BF, I actually knew her through this guy and she had a new BF at this point. She met at a bar, then went to a second bar, she used to talk about her favorite bar, so I asked her if we could go there and we did. At the second bar, she admitted that originally she only planned to have a drink, stay maybe for an hour, then leave, but at this point we had spend like half a day together, just drinking. I actually had a blast, we had great chemistry, but we were both too drunk and I told her she should go home. The real Red flags appeared after this, she talked to me on a daily basis, saying how much fun she had with me, she missed me, etc... and it got to a point where I told her to back down, I told her: I need some space (she was crazy clingy and it bothered me how she had another dude anyway). She got mad at me and stopped talking to me. In the end this was mostly a waste of time. Another red flag, she trash talked about her current BF, having gone through girls like that before, I knew this was a bad sign. Stick to local indeed! You gota learn to know a girl IRL, have her in your area, if not, don't bother. Currently, I see any red Flags and I'm out! Not wasting any time on people that aren't worth it.

Long story short. My ex says to me last week “ I’m not liking this, I want to be left alone! “ ok no problem! A week goes by and I get this text late last night.I ignored until late in the day to reach out. ( shouldn’t have) she asked if I could help help her Sunday with delivery driving for super bowl. I asked her” why don’t you ask your boyfriend?” And she replies with” because you’ve done this before and you know the streets very well I knew I shouldn’t have reached out thank you for being a f…..king asshole about it” unreal!!

Best friend, great guy, excellent man and husband, worked 3 jobs, loyal, fantastic, moral, educated, earned 6 figures, gave his (non-working, stay at home mom) wife 4 great kids. She lost the feelz, and wanted divorce and he killed himself a year ago. Men, they just are not worth it. Almost all of them cannot be trusted and will ruin you even if you give them a dream-life.

My XGF of 6 months now, came out with the "I need space" crap I already knew what this meant that its already over. So I replied to her by saying if you really need space then GO FOR A WALK, the look on her face was priceless I really had to contain myself from laughing in her face. To say love is blinding is an understatement she put out so many RED FLAGS throughout our LTR but I just brushed them aside, NEVER AGAIN now if I see one RED FLAG I'm gone. That saying if you love someone let them go if they come back they are truly yours, do not believe a word of this statement as this was our 3rd time on the rodeo of love LMAO. Never let them come back its just a waste of your time n effort run for the hills.

If I find myself not feeling it anymore, I simply say “I’m no longer interested, just didn’t go they way I thought it would, best of luck”, it’s not always pretty, but why draw it out. The last time I heard, “I need space”, I simply replied, “let’s not prolong this, let’s just part respectfully with no animosity”. It worked out great except all the sudden she decided THAT move in my part made me the guy she wanted to be with. Uhg…. Still I held my ground and was polite, but excuses myself quickly.

Me and my gf broke up after 3 years. We both would break up with each other but she did the final one that led me to blocking her completly. For a while there, he seemed pretty well obsessed with Testosterone levels and maintaining them. While I am not into doing a needle process for Testosterone levels, I can take a pill. It's not just acting or lying; this seems totally staged to me. The guy and the girl organized the call for free dinner...that's what I got out of that call.
