First you killed Hughes, then you spill it to Mustang, you try to fight him, you run away, turn into Hughes and make Mustang to burn you as Hughes, and then you hit Riza... There's plenty of reasons why Mustang went full revenge mode...🔥🔥🔥

Mustang was slowly becoming one of my favorite characters but this scene was so deep and emotionally driven. The action, the emotion he is going through, the voice acting, just solidified him becoming one of my top 3 favorite characters of the show.

I just want to know were Envy's confidence came from thinking he could face everyone. He knows Scar can mess him up from his Marcoh fight, and he knows Ed is a handful already. Those 2 alone should already put him on edge. Then again Envy wouldn't be as fun if he was actually smart.

i think most of his confidence came from his jealousy tbh 🤷‍♀️ winning fights against humans, outsmarting them, and belittling them lifted his self-esteem because deep down he believed humans were better than him

I think it’s more that envys need to prove his self worth and superiority over others is stronger than his desire to live, which his final moments more or less confirm.

This has to be one of most satisfying moments in anime, alongside Luffy punching the celestial dragon, Goku becoming a Super saiyin for the first time, Anya punching Damian and Henderson punching Swan (yes, those are satisfying moments for dealing with a bullies), etc.

何かこれ、深いなこれって差別発言になるけどわりと小柄な人はコンプレックスあって大きなものに憧れるだから色々と変化したり大きく見せたりしかも名前もenvy(羨ましい) 自分含めて周りでもやたらマウント取ろうとする人とか事実とはかけ離れたような自慢してるような人って大体小柄な人なんかそんなこと連想した日本のアニメってキャスティングにもメッセージ性がある

@@isauldron4337 Scar kept going on that path because the people who wronged him and his kind still existed. After Envy died, that would have been it. And even if it wasn't, the mastermind behind it all was going to be stopped whether out of revenge or not. In other words, Mustang would never have turned into Scar.

Envy was such a dumbass. He had an opening, after flicking rocks at Mustang and he could have escaped easily by transforming in something smaller or more creative. I know, he had to die for the sake of the story, but it's a shame. And i'm not even that fond of him/her/it to begin with.
