This song is a masterpiece.

The long second half of this song I just loved...it was like being transported to a different land, frolicking on Mars. Then, after a dozen or so listens, because of the "Eden Days, Golden Nights" lyric, I began to see the whole song metaphorically for our lives. It's in the early years we fall in love. But people change and they are no longer capable of laughing or being like they were when they were younger. But you have to remember those great "Eden" days, and those golden nights. But that was a long time ago when we were young, and life has become a very long process with lots of variety and changes and rhythm and melody. To some it keeps droning on and to others it's always filled with variety. But still, nothing was ever as good as those Eden Days and Golden Nights. Nice song, Ed.

EOB sounds like a lovely guy. I listened to the Adam Buxton podcast with him today and he's a really cool guy. Fact is though, this is average music and it'd never stand alone without the Radiohead heritage. Imagine if a 50 year old guy in your local town released this. It wouldn't go anywhere. It's good, but it's easy to get a case of the emperors new clothes. There's so much unrecognised talent out there that never gets to see the light of day. And even if it does, it's dismissed because it doesn't have heritage. Nice one Ed. I know that you know you're one of the lucky ones, that has the luxury of time and experimentation. This is a cool song. I guess I'm asking, how can we give the not-so-lucky ones a chance?
