I got this same unit and its soooo good 😍 Spotify is a must have on it if you have a spotify subscription because it eliminates the need to play music from your phone and it looks dope!!

Yes, but it forces you to have a permanent wifi connection or to pre download your songs before driving..

Why do u need to use your phone when u can put music on an SD card and play it through the screen. After all.. thats why you buy a SCREEN!

I must have a newer unit because it A: Does not have the ugly Eonon logo at the bottom and B: It auto starts up mega fast right to the main menu, no BMW or Eonon logo on start up. I love it! Good video, good review. I watched this video before I bought it last week.

Thanks that very helpful I buy it after I saw your first video It's amazing but i had one problem i connect the rear cam power to the battery and after 20 days my battery died Mybe I need to conect it to the egnition Right now i cut the power and so far my battery works perfct

When I installed my back up camera I spliced it to my back up light other wise the camera will only get power when the wire or battery has power so your camera was actually on the entire time hence why your battery died

i love this product i have to 6.0 version, honestly i think the ui on the 7.0 is kinda ugly compared to the old model i hope the 8.0 looks a lot better, that's what im getting next

Hi Evan, great review. I saw that you have an app on this one that shows the car climate controls and other info. Does that app come with this unit or is that something you have to download and requires connection to ODB or other wiring to work? I saw your screen on one of your E46 hidden feature review videos. Lastly, after couple of years, how do you feel about this unit? Recommended to buy?

Hello, unfortunately it does not control HVAC controls. I recommend getting the Avin 4 not this radio

Easy connect tells me to connect to navigator. Where do i find this? Looked everywhere. Can't get maps to load either. I do have the 9150 version.

Hi Evan I had a look at my car Radio plug it has Pin 10,4,and 17 missing 320ci 2006. Will GA8150A OR GA9150A work with my car.There has been a Old Type Telephone fitted to this car (Jack Connection in the Centre console)

I have this radio. I Hotspot my phone and everything works well except for the hands free calling. It does not matter if I use the built in mic or the extended mic, people can not understand me. Suggestions?

I purchased a Eonon Ga8051A. I own a 2003 BMW E46 m3. The factory radio is a navigation radio image1.jpeg My problem is that the factory harness doesn’t match the harness provided in with the new radio. How do I remedy this? This is the harness set up I have image2.jpeg

Thanks for the video! I just installed mine. How do you get Google maps to update traffic info via your cellphone? I can do it thru Wifi at my house, but not sure how to do it thru my phone.

Hey bro! I just picked up an 05 320ci The standard screen is playing up and I’m thinking of installing an aftermarket head unit! Will I lose the functionality of the stock head unit ? Eg. checking temp, speed warning, km/mph settings etc. Or do they become available on the new one too?

i have a 2006 330ci convertible with old navigation,,,will this unit fit,,eonon says only through 2004,,something about wiring harness not compatible???

It comes with a can bus decoder, just plug it in and the steering wheel controls work. No programming needed. I recommend buying the Avin avant 4 over this radio though.

Can you explain how the GPS works? How can you ensure that you get the live traffic updates, etc without the use of screen sharing?

If you want traffic updates you need to connect your phone for an internet connection

I use an IPhone 5 on my car (330CI 2006) - Can I use it with that Eonon device? The operating system of my car is not compatible with the OS of my phone. Does it interfere with the bluetooth functions such as oil level and pressure, tire pressure functions?

Ok so I just installed the newest unit they have on the site. My radio reception is terrible, I have a short blue wire not connected to anything but the antenna is plugged in otherwise. The harness I didn't use has those 2 blue wires with the metal connectors to each other. Is my harness bad or did connect something wrong?

Yes it was the only blue wire that connects to the antenna adapter

I tired to rub it off but it won’t come off. I need to take paint remover to it to see what will happen. I just don’t want it to take the black paint with it

just use a little piece of electric tape. That's what I did. It is not noticeable unless you look for it.

It’s RGB so any color, you can make it match the interior very well

from what i have heard oreo is a downgrade at least for phones anyways not sure how it would it be on a head unit like this i have not updated to it , nexus 6p also from what i hear nougat is the last good version of android google is going to start locking it down worse than IOS form here on in

The system uses Google maps which means you never need to update the map since google does that update. Am I correct?

Correct as long as your connected to WiFi for it to update the map

Try xtrons 8.0 android unit , this one looks outdated while xtrons is much modern and alot better in every aspect
