Great video! Couple questions if you have a moment: -do you have to hit Zlinks for Carplay/AA every time you power up the radio? -does this unit have time alignment/delay settings for the speakers? I think the VWA12 did, so I would assume the same with this one. Thanks!

Set Zlink5 background auto connection so that we don't have to manually click Zlink5 every time to connect Carplay/AA. Click Zlink5 APP--->Setting--->Background Connection--->ON VWA13 does not support time alignment/delay function; VWA13 supports DSP sound field setting 1:23. Hope it helps.😊

Hi, i have few questions if anyone could answer me i would appreciate it. 1. Does controls on right steering wheels remain on cluster(changing to fuel consumption, speed etc..)? 2. Do i need to place gps antena if my previous multimedia was RNS 310 do i already have gps? 3. Also i have builtin microphone on rooftop can i use that one instead of the one provided by multimedia? 4. Also i have usb under armrest which i believe is connected on the back of my current multimedia can i do the same thing with this one? 5. Is it possible to remove rear camera lines and leave only oem camera lines? 6. Does it remove compass and info on cluster?

@@GuitarTherapy144 Hi friend. Thank you for your message. Our unit is compatible with the front and rear parking/parking sensors of the original car. Note that if the original car radio does not have a reversing radar display, it will not display it after installing our unit.

some other questions, thank you for your fast reply. what are the specifications of your audio? what DAC? how much bitrate for the DAC and usb, exfat or fat32? whats the maximum size for xfat? is 512gb possible with external usb/sdcard? i am into audio only. i dont want to buy alpine or pioneer.. i prefer the looks of eonon for my touran:))) thanks alot for your infos. @@EononOfficial

radio does not turn off when the car is off or turn on😢?

Yeah it turns on and off with the key, it just has a stand by mode of a couple hours that makes it quick turn on and off but if it sees your battery is low it won’t do that and you can also turn it off all together in the settings

I didn’t have a OEM cam so I put in a flip camera from China that had a RCA video to hook up to this one, there’s a video on my channel as well about it

Curious if it uses only the provided mic or if it’ll hook up to the built in mic? Also, how does the compass work on the cluster? Do you need to use the provided gps unit?

On the cluster I’m not sure it was a stock option, but yes I have a GOS antenna for it on the head unit, and it comes with another mic to but the one on it was fine for me

Hey! Any yes it will with it plugging into the can bus for the sensors and there is a separate adapter that comes in the box as well for the oem camera

Does the microphone need to be hooked up for siri in carplay? I dont quite understand where youre supposed to put it.

There is a microphone built into the head unit itself that I thought was good enough for me so I didn’t put in the other mic, but yes it uses that built in mic for Siri, unless you plug in the external then it uses that

It's called the exact fit mount, made by rennline. You can buy it from rennline or design911. Hands down the best mount in existence.

hey man, im about to do a full audio work on my volkwagen touran, similar to tiguan, passat golf etc....i didnt buy a head unit yet because i want to find a HU that will let me still use and visually see on the screen the parking sensors. is that possible with this unit?

Let me email them and ask, I don’t have the sensors on mine. My guess is yes because it has the CAN bus adapter but I’ll check with them

There probably is but I haven’t found it yet, but I’m mostly on CarPlay mode so I don’t really see it all that often

I think interface wise it’s worth it to me at least, this one seems a lot quicker than the last and they have definitely upgraded the menus for easier navigation through settings and such

After I plugged it in it just worked for me but if your still having an issue you can email their support, they will respond back to you mailto:support@eonon.com
