This is the last episode of the Tawang tour, we started the day from Shergaon. Many people travel from Guwahati to Shergaon and enjoy 2-3 days stay there.
Shergaon offers hill and river view , clean environment, culture, hill station, and so much more for tourist,.
Shergaon is mostly inhabited by Sherdukpen tribe. it is located at a distance of 225 km from Guwahati.

Homestay -We stayed at their homestay, though the stay was comfortable but they don’t have separate washrooms with each stay accommodation, that is the only thing which i felt was missing.
Following are some of the sightseeing locations we visited during our day in Shergaon
Lower Gompa - This gompa is around 200 years old. This place has old houses, most of them are almost 70 to 90 year old too.
Choskorong waterfall - It's a small beautiful waterfall, If you have seen huge waterfalls then this may not attract you but still if you are in Shergaon you can visit this fall.
Hanging Bridge - This location is quite beautiful. This bridge is made on Deblok river.
State Horticulture Farm - It is one of the important tourist spots. It is mainly famous for planting Apple, Kiwi Orchards, Walnut, Aromatic and Medicinal and other fruits too. Plus the scenic beauty of this place is amazing.
Waterfall on route to Chilipam monastery - There is a beautiful waterfall on the route to the monastery.
Chillipam Monastery - This monastery is also known as Chillipam Gompa. This place is so amazing that it will show you spectacular 270 degree views of the surrounding Eastern Himalayan valleys.
Route to Chilipam monastery is steep, internet does not work on the route, It’s better to take someone along for the route direction.
Tenga Hanging Bridge - This bridge is built on the Tenga River. One can spend their time by sitting at the river side.
Tenga ViewPoint - This is around 7 km away from Tenga Hanging Bridge. Here one can see the Tenga River and valley from height.
Nag Mandir - This temple is about 17 km away from Tenga. This temple was built in 1966. People mostly stop at this point and do darshan of the Nag Mandir.
Zero Pint - We hold at this point to have snacks and tea. Although this point is not mentioned in Google maps so it's difficult to search for Zero point on google maps. Mostly people traveling from Bhalukpong to Bomdila use to stop here to take a break and then continue their journey. We took break at Soman Hotel - 8794578279
Tezpur - We ended our journey here. We stayed at Hotel Bikram - 085880 09191
