Thomas777 joins me for a hearty discussion on intelligence agencies and geopolitics. Is the CIA the boogeyman everyone makes it out to be? Who's really in charge? What do the gl0bal elit3s want in the long run? What really happened in the Cold War?
We touch on many subjects that are routinely misunderstood by normies, and definitely propagandized and weaponized by our societal institutions. As is our want, we leave plenty of meat on the bone for a return visit in the future!

@21:00 Fascinating piece of discussion at that point. Some years ago, I read an old interview with either Jim Angleton or Prof. Norman Holmes Pearson. (Sorry I can't remember which one.) The question was why does the CIA seem to have a preference for the literature graduates? The answer was that if you are an operative in the field, you are a character in a drama. You are playing a part so you better know the subtleties of making a character believable. You also need to know how to be persistent in your character. Therefore, literary types, at least in the early days of the CIA, were right in the middle of many operations. Their skills were useful. As Thomas noted, this definitely did attract the type with the identity issue. That problem is chronic among many actors, it's an issue with CIA undercover operatives. They come to the job with the affectations, as Thomas put it, and they seem to think they can put their problems and their skill to work on behalf of their country.

It's a very important point that serves to highlight the "why" behind a lot of things, which is always the goal we're trying to aim for here :)

Ah, this reminds me of a great podcast, with greater research, I've listened to named Inpatient Radio. More specifically, a "Wilderness of Mirrors" episode he had concerning Angleton, his strategy of recruiting poets and writers, and his thoughts about how it contributed to their operating abilities towards influencing the general culture, on top of giving em better character insight. The "identity issue" really rings a bell for me concerning one prominent player mentioned named Richard Gibson, who was a black writer/CIA asset amongst the politically active black American expatriate writers circles in 1950s Paris. He ended up founding the Fairplay For Cuba Committee when returning to the States😅

Gibson was the guy the CIA leaked as an asset when they released the JKF docs, right?

I’d love to hear his thoughts on the good aspects the Soviet union and Russia is never going to be pro fascist in any way but what would a actual right wing in Russia look like

I think it would look at lot like the "White Army" during the beginnings of the Soviet takeover. At some point we'll be reading from Ivan Ilyan's "On Resistance to Evil By Force", and my guess is that would be the ideal type of movement (imo)

I actually admire that about him, as it's a lot easier to get demoralized/blackpilled about it all with the more knowledge learned, than it is to find silver lining nuance or a positive spin. I think maintaining some level of neutral mindset or positivity is a lot more conducive to finding solutions and productive ways forward for oneself in what/wherever place one inhabits in this crazy world
