You can think that the title of this video is a little bit pretentious, and maybe you are right but, as far as I know, it's acurate.
Before I made the decision of getting head on into the massive rabbit hole that is designing and making this abomination, I investigated a lot to see if something similar can be bought somewhere and I couldn't find anything that has all the features I want in this device: being compact and portable, nice looking, bedroom friendly and good sounding.
The closest things I found are some really DIY projects that fall into two main categories: A) Some sort of spinning bucket or cup duct taped into a boombox or B) a Leslie replica made using the same materials and design of the original, and roughly of the same size.
Don't get me wrong, some of these projects are really awesome and are full of skill and talent but I wanted to make something really different, something that breaks with all the preconcepts of a rotary speaker in terms of size, materials and design and doesn't try to be just a scaled down Leslie replica.

Tremendo trabajo, te felicito !! Vuelvo al tema de seleccionar las dos velocidades con una simple inversora: tomaste como común la masa (GND) y seleccionaste con la llave inversora el voltaje positivo, ¿probaste a la inversa? ¿Verificaste si la placa de control genera un pulso positivo o negativo? Porque si fuera negativo manteniendo el voltaje positivo, no tendrías un cambio de velocidad. Si ya lo probaste, desestimá mi idea. Te felicito nuevamente.

Se agradece enormemente la data! Probé todas las combinaciones posibles, al intentar conmutar un solo polo del motor, no importa si negativo o positivo siempre terminaba funcionando a la velocidad más alta seteada en cualquiera de los dos controladores. Hasta probé insertando diodos en el circuito pensando que podía tener un retorno de tensión por algún lado y nada. Seguramente debe haber alguna solución pero supera mis conocimientos un tanto básicos de electrónica así que corte por lo sano y decidí conmutar negativo y positivo y listo, problema resuelto. Solo necesito hacer una plaqueta con un par de reles para la próxima versión, lo que tiene otras ventajas por cierto. Saludos y gracias!
