I tried this recipe today and it's really good! At first I thought that I made a mistake in the measurements since this batch had a small quantity compared to the other breads that I made but this really made my bread so soft! I was so tired to knead it manually but once you taste it you'll wanna make more! This recipe is much better than the other ones you see on YT (yes I tried others too but it doesn't taste great)

This is my favourite bread I wish I can make it even my country cannot make this bread it's so sad india make same looking but teste never same 😭😭😭 I try this bread in Singapore I love alot

I made these yesterday and they were really soft! My family is requesting for more! Can I double the recipe by simply multiplying all ingredients by 2?

Hi, may I check what might have gone wrong if at the 2nd Menu 9 steps, after yeast was dispensed, my dough has many little undissolved lumps and the dough is not well knead and smooth like your video. I sieved the flour but it didn’t help at all. Thank you. 😊

Kris Lu Hi kris, you can but the bread will not be so soft. You can use either full or skimmed milk powder.

Hello Bee Leng, can I keep half the dough after first fermentation in the fridge and use it the next day as the full recipe is too much to bake for myself to eat all the bread. Thank you.

Hi Elsie, I have not tried keeping the dough overnight. I think it should not pose a big problem, maybe it may not rise too much or as soft. No harm trying but need to cling wrap the dough to prevent drying. Or you can half the proportion of the ingredients. Would like to know the end result too. Hope you can share with me. Thanks.

@@TheBurningKitchen thanks for your quick response. For my first attempt I tried half recipe and it took a long time almost 45mins for my Kenwood hook to mix the dough till stretchy. The bread was soft and fluffy when out of oven but next day it was not so soft. So I thot I bake half to eat same day and the other half next day.

Hi, is the properties on correct? I tried exactly on the proportion n using my Panasonic bm. The dough was so wet that it cannot be rolled cut or smoothen to small dough “ball”. I did it twice n using prima bread flour. Any advice what when wrong? I follow the proportion exactly too n method. Thank you

Hi Juv, I am not sure why but the proportion of ingredients is right if you followed correctly. I have many who wrote telling me how soft and fluffy the buns were and they were very happy with the result.

Is it going to be the same ingredients/measurements if I'm using the stand mixer? I tried it but the dough was way too wet and it's hard to form any dough in the stand mixer

hi ,,why my dough is not so wet as that? its same 250g bread flour thangzhong roux n 80ml water but not wet as that is any problem or any something wrong i did?

Grace Anne Sanchez I use stand mixer and it works fine! Then I did all the proofing (1st and 2nd) in my oven in 36*c temp. The outcome was great!

Tam Dio Hi Dio, you can always adjust the amt of sugar according to ur own personal preference. It's no big deal!

Tam Dio Great! Great that the sweetness suit your palate. Do you hv any pic to post in our FB page? Look is rather deceiving at times. Need to do and see for yourself. In most of our recipes,we hv reduced sugar, salt n even oil. Pl try our other recipes too.

Mawicow Pewez Don't give up. This is part of the tuition fee for learning. The yeast must not be kept for too Long otherwise it will lose its fermenting strength. Try again and let us know how it goes. Happy baking!
