This was our 4th day in Madhya Pradesh. The video was shot on 24th May, where we did Safari at Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve and then traveled to Jabalpur.
MPT Bandhavgarh - We spent our last night at this place.
Tariff: Rs 5500 for double occupancy including meals.
Bandhavgarh Tiger Reserve - It is known for its large population of royal Bengal tigers, especially in the central Tala zone. Basically the zones are divided into Core, Tala, Magadhi and Khitauli. All zones have different entry gates.
We started from Khitauli Zone and did jungle safari there.
Maa Sharda Devi Temple - This temple is situated at the top of Trikut hill in Maihar. Maihar is about 120 km away from Bandhavgarh. There are 1,063 steps to reach the top of the hill and one can even take a rope way to reach the temple.
It is said that when lord Shiva was carrying the body of the dead mother goddess Sati, her necklace fell at this place and hence the name Maihar.
Rope Way Ticket: Rs 150 per person.
Indian cafe House Katni - We took a halt here to have dinner. Katni is about 70 km away from Maihar.
Options Lawns - We booked our room in this hotel.
Tariff: Rs 2800 for double occupancy without breakfast.
We ended our day at Jabalpur.
