You know what my brother taught me for landing and it works really well is once you turn final the picture between the airplane cowling and runway should never change the distance in between the cowling and the runway should not change if your nose goes up the picture shortens if it goes down it lengthens if your keeping it the same all the way to the number you should hit the same spot every time and I'm only a student pilot and it works very well for me.

My original instructor never said this...I read it in a magazine...runway moves up in the window more throttle and vice versa...once that was in my head landings became a whole lot easier...now years later I am AGI/IGI/commercial

This is the only thing keeping me from taking my checkride, I struggle with short and soft landings in that you have to nail a touchdown point. I can put the cherokee down like a butterfly with sore feet but nailing a specific point is kicking my butt.

Hey did you get it figured out? I have been having issues knowing if I’m high or low on my aim point.
