Pretty boat. Looks like she would make a great liveaboard. I think I'd have to find space for a washer/dryer combo, and scope out the possibility of adding solar. I've looked at lots of these videos, and I just say starting the generator and engines was a first. Cute touch with the Snoopy!

These boats are truly great liveaboards and yes...washer dryer combo would make it perfect. I try my best to get generator and engine run videos when the owner is present and willing to start and run them. I find doing that helps show that the engines are in good working order 😁. Yeah, Boat Snoopy is great and loves boats!

For the life of me I can’t find what the initial asking price was? I’m sure it’s somewhere or at least I would hope it is as I’m the customer and I’m not getting a dime if I decided to buy it but you guys I’m sure once again make a little something so if there is no listing price in the ad well then no price no sale because by just having to type this and ask for the price oh boy now I’m working to buy/sell the boat and even you don’t put listing prices because they change well you could at least list ballpark and I would be willing to bet 75% of your customers out there feel exactly like I’m telling you how I feel in this comment as I am truly interested but man it just makes me skip right past it when I can’t find a sales price and I’m letting you know because everything else you all do is literally spot on the mark so please maybe just change this one thing and I’d be willing to bet your sales would increase by a few points!!!!!

These videos are not boat listings, but just historical video documentaries of different boats. Many, but not all, were for sale at one time and listed on brokerage listing sites for sale. This Carver 440 was listed last year, but sold pretty quickly. The videos stay on so that people can see what different boats look like. When I am dead and gone, people will still be able to watch these videos and see what they looked like “back in the old days”. The name of this channel is Boat Snoop and we “snoop” around on boats. It isn’t called Boat Snoop Yacht Sales. Sorry for the confusion 😎

Thank you Karl! We are safe and sound, but it was one heck of a ride. Such a large and powerful storm…the main event lasted a crazy 12 hours…that was the hard and crazy part…felt like it would never end!

Keith, sorry I missed that. I get tons of robo-spam comments to my website and it makes it hard to catch real comments. These videos are not listings, but just video documentaries of different boats. Many were for sale at one time and listed on brokerage listing sites for sale. The Carver 440 was listed last year, but sold pretty quickly.

Another great video..Now I have a probably stupid question that I could just google it for myself but I know you would explain it better but what is that water I see shooting out of almost all boats/yachts etc? I know what a bilge pump is/does but why or how is there always water getting into the underneath of vessels? I had thought the bilge pumps were for occasional water that may have gotten into the engine area but I see them constantly shooting out water??? I'm sure there are things on an RV that others have no clue that I would know so remember I have never owned a boat or even been on anything larger than a ski boat!

It is the air conditioning brother. It doesn’t cool refrigerant to air like house or rv. It removes the heat from the refrigerant to water. Actually much more efficient since water is much more dense. Good question.

Many if not most marine air conditioning units are heat pump reverse cycle units that will cool or heat. You can read how it works here: boatac.net/how-boat-ac-works/

@@darrylscott4237 The purpose of my channel is to show people what different boats look like. Kind of like a historical documentary on boats that people can look at for years. That is why I don't get all sales pitchy. These videos of course are put on the boats listings while they are being sold and do help the boats sell, but once the boats sell...the goal is to have a tour without sales pitches...I don't know if that makes sense? However, when people write to me...I do provide them the listing link if the vessel is still for sale 😎.

I’m not sure what you mean exactly by general alarms, but a vessel like this would have a low oil pressure alarm, bilge alarm, smoke and carbon monoxide detectors in the cabin areas.

Sorry to hear that. This is not a sales channel. I’m just showing boats and what they look like so that people can see what certain boats look like. Now, many of these boats may have been for sale at the making of the video, not all of them, but this specific boat was for sale at one time. However, it was sold quite a while ago.

Child lock ??? I thought you knew about boats. The lock on the frig is so while underway, the door does not pop open and your stuff does not fall out. The "place to sit" next ex

I said they were indeed there to keep the door from swinging open. Yes to keep from swinging open underway. However, they are indeed child locks that have been purposely put on there to stop…not kids…but rough waters from knocking the doors open. They are not refrigerator manufacturer parts. They are child locks that have been used to do another job. You can find a ton of these child locks on Amazon.

I did say child locks because that is what they are. They are child locks that they have put on there for a different use. I was just using Snoopy that day for fun. I haven’t used him in quite a while.

@@BoatSnoop Then take it down!! It is very frustrating when you are looking for boats and get interested to find that they are sold> Not fair for the buyer. I would rather have less to look at then constantly finding out the boat you are ready to buy is sold. Am I alone on this?

I am not selling boats on this channel. I am historically documenting and showing what boats look like. There is never a price shown on these boats. These videos might be shown on boat listings while they are being sold…if they are being sold(as some of these boats were not for sale). However, people want to see what different boats look like, some want to see what a similar boat to theirs looks like, and some are restoring their boats and want to see direct examples of their boat. I will be dead and gone and people will still be viewing these videos to see what they look like.

No worries. A lot of people think that, even though I don’t get all saleslike on the videos. I don’t get all saleslike because I want to just document the boats. Sure, some are for sale at one point and their listing brokers put them up on boat sales sites. Insight, I am the director of operations for Pier One Yacht Sales at pieroneyachtsales.com. If a boat is still for sale…you’ll find it there 😏
