I have 4 Miniature Dachshunds. Mommy, daddy and we kept their 2 girls. Momma is hurt right now and it’s kicking my behind. She’s hurt her back. So we are taking it easy right now and binge watching your channel. What a remarkable job everyone did on the Pearl!!!!

@@SailingBluePearl thank you. The dad is Diesel, momma is oldest at 7 and her name is Daisy. Their first born I kept her and named her Dora the explorer. First born, first to walk first to explore the house. Then Hundur. She’s my 21 yo grandsons but he has lived with me since birth. I was told Hundur is Norse for Hunter. Sh will look at you and smile and when you try to pet her she’ll eat you up! My neighbors were moving north lady said “ I’ll give you $2500.00 for Dora. Thanks but no. Right before they left” I’ll give you $10,000.00 for Dora.” “I could really use the money, but no thank you. I’m not selling my baby girl!” Dora and Daisy are laying in my lap but big Daddy Diesel is laying between my legs. So do your dogs really like being on the yacht? Anything they don’t like? I have to run. Stay the course my friends. Oh wait what is the longest sailboat Irwin built! I’ve seen a 100 footer

I've never had any luck with heli-coil, I always prefer time serts or keen serts. As far as the JB weld well done, almost as if you heard me😀. The epoxy putty is amazing stuff if you can find some. You 2 are the most likeable people of any sailing channel. Good luck with everything.

Even the Mobula Rays were happy for your success! Another really good fix it for these type of repairs is Splash Zone. I had a similar leak in my old and tired Perkins diesel, I used JB Weld and it leaked after about 6 months, a diesel mechanic in Puerto Escondido used Splash Zone for the next repair. Needless to say, I now carry nice supply of it on my boat.

Fantastic job Chris, I knew you could do it! You’re absolutely right, most boaters will always help and never leave you stranded, it’s a wonderful life! I’ll bet you’ve already researched your next generator and have a pretty good idea of what you want, can you even imagine what you’re going to do with all that extra time you will have? Hours and hours of hard work, brain drain and worries all gone. Your dogs are so adorable and so lucky! Thank you for another wonderful episode!

I really like the vids, and your husband is a pretty good “fixit” man, but,,, the surveyor should really have picked up 99% of your existing problems..

Yes, he's one heck of a fixit man!🙌 I'm sure a surveyor would have caught most of this, but we didn't do a complete survey. We pretty much bought her "as-is".
