HI Everyone
Well it's finally time to plonk Dodger back in to the water so we can begin our 2022 travels. Its been a long winter and spring is just around the corner so me and the hounds are looking forward to more adventures on narrowboat Dodger on the Britains canal and river network. We hope you can join us .

Lovely seeing the daffs in the planters. We are still in deep winter. Had a blizzard today.😮😲😞😤.

Made me nervous when he was at the bow. From the angle it looked like he could be squashed. That happened to me a few years ago. I got thoroughly pinned between a snow plow and our garage. Luckily the door was on a track, other wise I would have lost my legs from the thigh down. Afterwards my hubby was downright laughing as he said I was so British because I asked him very politely to please remove the plow😲😜😝. I am so glad he got it in reverse instead of first gear. Cheers😘😘😘.

Good to see Dodger back in the water Del. I must have missed what happened in Spain somehow, you did say that you had damaged your van and then you were back on the boat as if by magic. Feel free to say " Mind your own business" mate.

Dodged a stray dog and crashed the van Dave then a week later I broke my foot so had to come home early. Not the best experience I must admit.

Don't like my boat being on the land or in a dry dock. The absence of wobble is really strange. (First time felt as though the boat had died, so to speak.) Visitors, on the other hand, find the wobble hard to get used to. How do you find it?

Hi Felixstowe. Three things affect me the most when out of the water. Firstly the lack of a beautiful view outside of the countryside and the wildlife. Secondary the feeling of freedom disappears . Lastly its a lot more difficult to keep the boat warm as the Hull is exposed to the cold air. Thanks for watching 😊
