I’m knitting the Anker Summer T, The V-Back sweater, and Romi Hills new Colorica……. Plus a prayer shawl using the blackberry stitch, and designing a scarf for Pentecost to use with our Alter cloth at church. All are slow intentional knits, because my knitting time is fairly limited…. But steady progress! And all are enjoyable. Thanks for the fun blog, and Happy Birthday Katie! Congratulations on 1500 viewers! That’s awesome.

Happy Birthday, Katie! I am watching you wonderful ladies and finishing the 2nd sleeve on my Lovenote sweater. My son gifted me 8-50gm skeins of the most vibrant colors from Frost Yarns (cashmere/merino blend) I did some maths and striped the sweater, such fun! I couldn't resist using as much of the yarn as possible and made a bit longer sleeves. Congratulations on your following milestone, I am confident you will double that number in no time. Your podcast is a pleasure to tune into. Thank you for sharing, I appreciate the inspiration! Thank you for the opportunity, a Salty Air tee would be stunning in the yarn!

So excited to sit down and there you girls were! I really enjoy your mom/daughter time ❤. I also am working on the Corran cardigan by Creabea Rebecca Clow. I am using my hand spun yarn. The fiber is from Susan’s Fiber Shop in Wisconsin. Her son lives in Lexington I believe and she bends at the festivals in Kentucky. You’ll have to keep an eye out as she is so fun and sweet. The braids were called Moon over Maryland and is BFL, one of my favorite fibers. I’m also working on a pair of socks and have to finish up the ribbing on a Felix cardigan. I have yarn coming for a Tankar tee which should be released soon. I so enjoy you girls and want to say congratulations on 1500, but I bet your followers are going to go up and up 😊 Have a great week and keep on casting on 😂 ( we all will too) from Southern California

You ladies are so fun to watch. I love how encouraging of each other you are. Socks! After a long winter in all the same hand knit socks, i want to make more (shorties for summer) to refresh the basket. Oh, and also another Saturday Shrug. Those are such good stash busters. Thant Poppy Red is such a happy color.

I’m dreaming about The Salty Days sweater. I’m going to knit one for myself and another for my daughter for Christmas. I’ve just got to find the right yarn… and while I search, I’m knitting on a circular yolk, long sleeve, with rows of slip stitches.. no pattern, just something I’m making up as I go. And loving on your videos. You all are so sweet.

You two ladies are delightful to watch. I’ve watch all the previous podcasts back to back to back….. I’m finishing up a Douglas Cardigan using Rowan Felted Tweed. The yarn was stash yarn purchased years ago. My daughter is a knitter too and we are both going to cast on the Pop Life Cardigan by Wool and the Gang. We will use the same yarn in the pattern and do the modifications Leslie Friend, from the podcast A Friend to Knit with, did. It’s wonderful sharing the love of knitting with my daughter… just like the two of you.

I too found you thanks to Amber!☺As a northern midwestern girl (I was born and raised in Wisconsin and now live in Minnesota), I just love listening to your accents and to hear you talk about all things local to you! I just finished a Soldotna Crop by Caitlin Hunter. I usually have at least one garment and several accessories going at the same time, so my only real active project at this very moment is the Everyday Shawl by Andrea Mowry. I'm working out which sweater or tee to cast on next! Thank you for offering up such a generous prize to your subscribers and congrats on 1.5k+! The color of that Linen Quill is amazing. 😍

I am another one who found you by Amber's recommendation, and you are a pleasure to watch. I have 3 things that I'm focusing on knitting right now. I make socks for my daughter and son and his wife, and their two littles, every year for Christmas, so I am working on the socks for my son first (because his feet are biggest!). I am doing two at a time for the first time, and I like it fine. It seems to be going well. I like to try different sock yarns, and this time I am using Drops Fabel Paint on a 2.25 40 inch needle. I do toe up with a gusset and heel turn. I am also knitting a sweater for one of my grandchildren. It is the Playdate sweater from Marie Greene's Knit a Little book of patterns for children's sweaters. I'm using Plymouth Yarn Homestead tweed. Lastly, I'm knitting the S Curve Shawl by Becca Anderson. It was a design she created for Yarn Quest a few years ago, an event featuring the local yarn shops in west Michigan. It is knit using a set of 11 mini skeins of Mountain Colors hand-painted yarns. It is so lovely to knit on these while watching you!

Thankyou for and, Congratulations on, another fabulous episode 🎉 Happiest Birthday Wishes to Kaity. May the year ahead be filled with joy and good health, and of course lots of knitting!! Diana, with your stripey t, could you finish the sleeves so you get them how you'd like with the cream and then go and do the hem? You could always finished on navy there and use a different yarn for the fancy edge. It would likely work better there and be less obvious, more like you meant it to be that way, than on the sleeves? I nodded with the out and about knitting as I do that too. Being a passenger in a car is also a great time to knit! I find it helps with carsickness too! A blooper real sounds like fun, but please don't worry about redoing and redoing because we know you're human and appreciate that you are doing this amongst your 'day jobs', so yk, life happens! The two of you are so relatable and have such an easy way with each other (truly heartwarming ❤) and with us, your audience, so please just keep doing you, and don't worry too much about the polish ok? I get there is a balance between what you're also happy to put out into the world, but we all found you, and we're still here because we like you and enjoy your company. Your finished items are all lovely and the wip's and acquisitions look fabulous too.

I just found your podcast and enjoyed it very much. Makes me wish I had been able to pick up knitting when my mom tried to teach me many moons ago. I am in the process of knitting the cuffs of the Rattan socks by Renate, which are one of the warm-up patterns for the Supersock World Championships that I joined for the 1st time…I’m using a double sock blank from Sweet Georgia Yarns in the colour way old flame 🔥 Looking forward to your next episode ❤

Love your podcast. I am making the Dorel tee made from Loop and Threads yarn. I enjoy learning about your world in Kentucky as I live far away on Vancouver Island in Canada.

Thank you Janice for watching and commenting. We sure do love Kentucky we have a little bit of everything land wise here and the running joke is just wait a few minutes and the season will change. Kaity and Samuel spent their honeymoon on Vancouver Island and they absolutely loved it up there. Samuel actually bought her a bag of coffee from your neck of the woods for her birthday. She was thrilled! Diana

Loving your podcast and projects 🤗. My Ankers Tee has also grown, so I may try the dryer technique too! I'm currently knitting the Pressed Flowers Cowl in Gullrock Fibres yarn, which is beautiful and naturally dyed, it's a very fun and addictive knit and would totally recommend 💖💖💖

Love your podcast!! So happy for Amber’s recommendation of you. She’s the best and so are you! I’m working on the Felix Cardigan right now using Berroco Mercado. My next project will be either the Cumulus Tee by PetiteKnit or the Salty Air Tee. There are so many great summer tee patterns out there today and it’s really hard to choose one. I really enjoyed you summer knits podcast, your work is so lovely! Anxiously awaiting your next podcast.

This weekend I had a cast on party too!!! I only had one wip going (the Friday tee), and I ended up casting on a sock (using Patons), the Rigby (using Sulka Legato), and the Vertices Unite (using Knit Picks Palette). I went from 1 wip to 4 in one day!!! Your projects are so nice, and I love Kaity's response to her present, y'all are so sweet!!

I was working on corner to corner dishcloths while watching your video, and have several WIPs! Socks from Helen Stewart's newest collection, a test knit shawl that has some fun lace, and a handful of sweaters. I'm going to cast on an Anna Tee soon, and of course the designer's name eludes me right now. 😂 I've enjoyed every episode you've put out so much--it feels like a good chat with good knitting friends.

Love watching your podcast. You are both so calming and make beautiful projects. I am presently working on Spector by Jodi Locatelli and A Nice Ribbed Sock by Glenna C. while I am on vacation. I plan to start some summer tops when I get home since being inspired by your tee shirt projects.

Love your podcast to knit to! I wanted to do a easy summer knit after just finishing a complicated pattern. So I found a free pattern called Lonicera by Berroco (on Ravelry) I'm using Juniper Moon Farm Zooey which is a cotton-linen blend. My first time doing a summer knit so I hope it will be airy and wearable in the heat. It is easy, but enjoyable because it has some variety with lifted stitches. It's basically knitting two squares, seaming, and then adding a small picked up sleeve.

I live in Cincinnati and I know about the yarn store in La Grange. I just went there a month or so ago. Friends and Fiber is a nice shop and I love it. I love your podcast and I so wish I had a daughter to knit with. I have two sons. I envy you. My two sisters knit but they don’t watch podcast like I do, so I can’t talk to them about them. I am a knitting addict.

Hi Diana and Kaity, I started watching your podcast after Amber's shoutout on her A Lovely Yarn Podcast. Love your energy and the fun you two have together. I'm currently knitting Old River Road, a great henley pullover by Kay Hopkins. She used wool but I've opted to use Purl Soho Santolina in peach and robin redbreast. I'm in Virginia so wanted something more lightweight. It's a really fun knit and so pretty. Also test knitting a vest for Anna Daku from The Bluebird Box who also has a fun podcast. Thinking of you as Kaity continues to heal from the miscarriage. Thanks for a fun podcast to watch while I'm knitting.

I love your podcast! That is so kind of you to offer us. I just finished the Striped Tee also, and it's blocking now (in Berroco Chai). And I'm almost ready to split for sleeves on a Yume using Berroco Remix Light, this one for my Mom. (This is my 7th Yume - they look good on everyone!)

I am working on a camping themed full colorwork sweater for my daughter in fingering weight. It is a test knit and it will match my adult version I already made. It’s in a lovely shade of teal and very pale blue. I would love to win that beautiful orangey-red yarn. Such a stunning color! ❤
