We have moved from Arran up into the inner Clyde, and then through the Kyles of Bute.

Thanks for this, I would recommend Campbelltown as a first stop. Very friendly. (Weather, depending obviously).

Hope it warms up for Elizabeth . Home from home for me and it looks beautiful. Hopefully you'll get a good evening at Loch Melfort . Thanks for sharing .

Thank you, Ruth, we are currently sat on a bench in the sunshine underneath the Crinan Hotel. Very mellow.

Nice video. I did the trip from sandbanks and thru East and west Kyles of Bute past Tarbert a couple of weeks before your trip. some wonderful sailing at times.

If you need any spares or repairs you’ll find Ardfern is your best bet, exceedingly helpful as there isn’t much further north. Have fun

Thanks for keeping the updates going. Curious what the log says about distance covered. Nice to see it looking a bit more like a holiday and less like a voyage😊

Hi Brian, we have about 1000 miles under our belt so far in the last seven weeks. Very much suspect that the average is going to go down. For example we have spent 3 to 4 days in the between Tarbert and Crinan Canal where total distance launch is less than 30 miles.

You might consider adding a further 30 m or so of rope to the anchor chain or at least having it on board just in case.

Thank you for this Richard and you make a good point. I should’ve been clearer. I added 30 m of chain onto what I already had which was 10+20. Total rode is now 60m, 40 of which is chain. I have an additional 10 m +20 as a kedge
