EP 8 Jaisalmer to Bikaner | Traditional food + Sightseeing | Rajasthan

5 жыл бұрынWe started our day with famous breakfast of Jaisalmer, visited a Haveli , followed by visit to Jaisalmer war museum. There after we left for Bikaner
We did this 330 km journey enjoying traditional Rajasthani food of the Marwar region.

Bhairav Temple: This is a famous temple in the Bap village, we missed taking its Google map coordinates. But just in case if you happen to visit this route. You can ask any one about this once you reach Bap village which is 130 km before Bikaner.

Divided by border but united by same sandy desert. I am from Thar desert of Pakistan and amazed to see Indain part of Thar desert known as Rajisthan. Same people same food same language only countries are different. i would love to visit Rajisthan and inshallah soon I will. love from Pakistan.

@@truthseeker2536, generally speaking you are right as Muslim food is usually non veg. But, I am talking about food of Thar desert in Sindh, Pakistan which borders with Rajasthan and Gujrat. The majority of the population is Hindu here and even we Muslims in this area prefer to eat veg. The food that I see here in this video can be found on this side of Thar desert as well.

Please don't miss few things in Bikaner, i am from Bikaner but stay outside ... these are the things you should try : 1. Kachori patti 2. Dahi Bade & Kachori near BK School 3. Kachori at jassusar gate (Mahadev kachori) 4. Mohan ji ki Mithai, Ghevar, Daal ke bade 5. Satta bazar mein railway crossing ke pass Kachori with Aalo ki sabzi 6. Lalgarh Fort 7. Junagarh Fort 8. Jain temple at Lakshmi Nath ji ki Ghati 9. Bhairav mandir at Kodamdesar 10. Poonrasar Temple, you need hafl day for that , you will get Daal Baati inside temple

सर जी टीसंडी नहीं होता इसे टींडसी कहते है, उतर भारत में इसे टिंडा भी कहते है,रेगिस्तान में ये टिंडे मानसुन में होते है यहां इनका रंग गहरा हरा होता है,और इसके बीज काले होते है

Wonderful simply wonderful.Keep it up.Looking forward to the bikaneri thali as the tastiest food I ever had in my life was in Nagpur in 1995 in a small hotel when I was doing the internal audit for Hindustan Antibiotics Limited while starting my CA articleship after graduation.I did not finish CA but still remember the food I had there years ago.

churma can be complete food in itself for light breakfast/dinner with lightly flavoured kishmish or jaggery based milk kheer. Normally as instant fresh sweetdish after food eaten hot/warm and can be made using jowar/corn or makke/ragi/any other millet flour roti of ur choice with desi ghee or clarified butter and jaggery.

mujhe yeh video bohot acha laga.. awesome.. the lake was sooo beautiful.. can't imagine that u will find a lake there.. the rabdi that u had at the restaurant nd at the home.. was it same to the sweetdish named rabdi..? bcz maine dekha ki rabdi ki jo consistency thi voh bohot kam thi.. nd not to forget the homefood u had.. they were so nice to invite uh nd offer such a delicious meal.. u really do hard work.. to cover different places.. within the time u have.. u travel late night..😱😱 now that's tough.. u r doing great job.. nd providing quality video.. thank uh.. so much.. hats off..

No - this was Rab... sweet that we eat in Rabdi.. same spelling though.... this was made out of curd at restaurant and at home they used butter milk.... yes trying to improvise as we go.... this is 2nd last episode of Rajasthan... wed you will see Bikaner then next sunday Varanasi starts.......

One Rabdi (Sweet) which we use it on ice cream which is kind of thick milk.. Here it is Raabdi which is made of curd and Bajara flour.. It will not be sweet..
