2 days in Bikaner: Rajasthan | Food & places to visit | EP 9

5 жыл бұрынWe started our day at Bikaner by visiting Junagarh fort, there after enjoyed local sweets. Visited Karni Mata temple, popularly known as temple where you get to see thousands of rats.
We spent 2 days at Bikaner and virtually explored all the famous food and travel destinations including camel research centre and more. Details of the places visited by us is given below:
Day 1
Bikaner Fort or Junagarh Fort : Something unique about this fort, It ground based fort,

Bhikharam Chandmal: Famous shop for Bikaner sweets.

Karni Mata Temple new : You will get to see thousands of rats, this is located at a distance of 30 km from Bikaner. This temple is dedicated to karni mata at Deshnoke.

Karni Mata Temple Old: This is also an old temple of karni mata located at a distnace of about 2 km from above temple. You will also notice many rats in this temple but not as much as you would see in the main temple. Near the temple there is a museum of Karni mata that you must visit if you are there.

Junia Namkeen: Famous shop for kachori. I noticed that hygiene was concern here in this area, i spoke to couple of shopkeepers who promised me that soon they will make changes.

Gulab Supari Store: There are many shops that do wholesale and retail of supari. This is one shop that we just visited to get basic info about supari.
Laxman Chaat House: This shop is popular for Dahi vada chaat.

Bikaner Village Food: we met someone near Camel research center who took us to his farm showed us the farming and then took us to his house in the farm for village food.

सर मै बेसिकली तो हरियाणा से हू।लेकिन मुझे राजस्थान बहुत बहुत पंसद है।जिस तरहा आपने खेत मे चारपाई पर बैठकर खाना खाया,मै भी जब राजस्थान परिवार के साथ घूमने निकलता हू।इसी तरहा छोटी छोटी जगह पर रूकना,खाना खाते है।

पिछले वर्ष फूफाजी के साथ गया था नंवबर में । बहुत ही मान-सम्मान मिला । जहाँ तक मेरा विचार है राजस्थान के लोगों जैसी खातेदारी करना बहुत ही मुश्किल है । बाकी अपने जूनागढ़ किला देखा बहुत ही अच्छा लगा । वहां पर एक पेपर की कटिंग भी है पुरानी महाराजा के हमशक्ल का एक व्यक्ति और भी है उस कटिंग में । बहुत ही ताजुब हुआ देखकर । बीकानेर के सभी जनों को मेरी तरफ से जय माता जी की .....

Wonderful Vlog Sir.. Just love the way you speak with everyone politely and the way you talk to Is through the camera. Just One suggestion (which I observed as a Photographer...) It seems Video camera's lens has some Dust Particles. They are visible when Camera person shoots Sky if you clean it it will increase camera life. Last but not the least...You are an Awesome person who gives Honest Opinions with Simplicity... Keep it up Sir...We love your work. 😊👍

Sir mera bhi same experience hai. Chori taraf khet, evening sun, alu parathe with achar and chai wo bhi bakri ke dudh ka, gaon ke simple log mujhe dekh kar has rahe the aur main bhukkad ki tarah kha rahi thi in sri ganganagar, rajasthan. Hum rajasthan wale dil se athithi devo bhav ko mante bhi hai aur sewa bhi kar te hai. Koi shaq nahi aap ko ye anubhav jo rajasthan mai hua hai wo kisi meethi yaad, apnapan,,aadar sattkar se kam nahi. Aap k sare videos dekhe maine jodhpur se bikaner tak. Aise bhi jammu, kedarnath, badrinath,vaishno devi bhi dekhe hai. Aap k thru hum bhi apna bharat dekh rahe nayi nayi chizo ko jaan rahe. Mai jodhpur se hu to isiliye aap k pura rajasthan trip dekh dala. Khushi hui k mere rajya se aap dil se khush ho kar gye. Aur sath hi sath apne bhaiyo ko dekh kar jinhone aap ko authentic, traditional khane k liye prem se apne ghar bula k maan se khud k yaha bhojan karaya. Aaj k zamane mai koi nahi karta aisa magar yahi baat mujhe jyaada chhu gyi k humare yaha jo log dil se ameer hai wo aaj bhi khush ho kar anjaan ko itne prem se bhojan karate hai. Dhanya hai aap jinko ye saubhagya prapt hua bhai sahab🙂🙏🏻

Sahi bole hukum. Hum to jodhpur mai pale bade 30 saal wahi tha ab job k chalte south india mai hai. Sab bardasht kar lete hai magar humare jodhpur k mirchi bade, mawa kacchori, ghewar, ityadi jaisa dusre kisi state mai nahi milta. Bahut baar yaad aati hai apni mitti ki😭

खेत में बैठ कर ठेठ देशी खाना > कोई भी ढाबा या रेस्तरां, बहोत खूबसूरत , लाजवाब राजस्थान , एक चीज नोटिस करे की ये किसान पानी की कमी होते हुए भी पारम्परिक रूप से बहु-फसल खेती करते है जबकि उत्तर परदेश में ये ट्रेंड खत्म होता जा रहा है , पानी होते हुए भी नकदी एक फसलीय खेती कर रहे है .

बीकानेर के पनीर पकोड़े ओर दाल पकवान भी मस्त है। साथ मे भुजिया भीखाराम चांदमल गजब।। देशी खाना खेत मे बैठकर उस से अच्छा कुछ भी नही हो सकता। बड़े से बड़े होटल में वो मजा नही आएगा जैसा देसी में है।।

मैं बीकानेर से हूं। यहां के लोगों का शौक ही खाना खिलाना है। बहुत स्वादिष्ट सब्जियां बनाते है वह भी बिना लहसुन प्याज के।

सर मैं बीकानेर से हूँ और ये तो नही बोलूंगा कि यहाँ की खाने की चीजें कैसी है क्योंकि हम सब इस बात से परिचित है लेकिन जो स्वभाव है बीकानेर के लोगो का वो क़ाबिल ए तारीफ़।।। असामाजिक तत्वों की कमी कही नही लेकिन इन तत्वों को दरकिनार करें तो व्यवहारिक रूप से यहां का हर व्यक्ति तारीफ के लायक है।।। बहुत अच्छा लगा आप बीकानेर आये।।। जय शंकर जय बीकाणा।।।

वाह। सर आप हमारे शहर बीकानेर आये और वँहा की इतनी सारे व्यंजन का लुत्फ उठाया। आपने जो फ़ूड एन्जॉय किया वो गर्मी का था सर्दी का फ़ूड आपने मिस कर दिया। अगली बार आप आओ तो सर्दी के मौसम में आना। नमकीन ओर मिठाई तो हमारे शहर की पहचान है।

bali ji aapne note kiya ki simple life kitni majedaar or healthy h. jin logo k gher aap gye wo log kitne ameer h dil se. aap to delhi se ho to aapko pta lga hoga k real INDIA kya h or kahan h. urban life to jhuthi jindgi h, simple and village life is real. jo nature k jitne kareeb rhega utna swasth rhega, han paisa thoda kam ho skta h pr wo wese bahut ameer hoga.

I lived in Bikaner during my childhood. it is the best place to live. Small, clean, no pollution. I can relate to the feeling of having food in a farm under the tree. We used to have such meals a lot. However, you shouldn't have missed visiting Chotu Motu Joshi for Puri Sabji and Sattu.
