Some time staying local pays off better. People used to make fun of me for staying local/ regional. I made more $$ than otr. And had more home time.

do you know how it compares to using a box truck to do amazon deliveries from the amazon sorting center to a post office thats usually withing a 4 hours drive? i know they load and unload their own pallets with their own pallet jacks.

I honestly don't know. I went right into the business with a carrier company. I didn't getva chance to really explore the Amazon flex routes

How do you get loads? Videos I have seen from others claim you need authority for a certain amount of time to get good amount of loads, or is this different? Thank you!

I'm with a carrier company and they have a team of dispatchers that find loads for me. I also drive under the carrier company authority.
