Hello Dear Justin and y'all, My Name is Lesther Miranda. I'm 19 years-old. I started singing almost 2 years ago. My family was so horrible to me, they laughed and made fun of me, they were always saying things like ''You're the shame of the family'' ''Your voice sucks so bad, I'd rather have my ears bleeding'' and stuff like that. I lost count of how many times I cried till I fell asleep and felt miserable, I wanted to die, honestly. But I knew Inside of me that I wanted to sing. I kept going, though. As I practiced my pitch started to exist, from there on the improvement started to go faster and faster. To the point that from the 1st month to 7 months later I could sing, I couldn't believe it. The first time I Recorded myself and didn't sound bad, I honestly, cried. Now I have mastered so many songs. I can sing Classical(Opera), Country Music, Folk Music and some Pop Music. I'm a Baritone and I have 4 Octaves of Range! (Subharmonic: G1-D2, Chest: E2-G4, Mix:G4-C5, Falsetto:A4-G5) and all because I didn't give Up. And I encourage you, If you're going through any bullying because of the fact that you want to sing. DON'T GIVE UP, It'll be worth it , I promise. There's no greater feeling than singing in front of the abusive people that gave you a hard time and shut their mouth. I did, and I know you will do it too.

You had me in tears of happiness. I've always been a little "nasal-ly" and my previous voice coaches would automatically tell me not to be nasal. They never specified that there was good nasal or bad nasal, just not to do it at all. Which made me feel like I had to strain and think too much to get the right sound, but it didnt feel right. Thank you for helping me feel good about using my "good" nasal tones again.

Hi New York Vocal Coaching. I want to ask some question. If you've made some videos regarding these questions please let me know. 1. I am a boy, 17 years old, and I sing in female's tone a lot. Is it good for me? 2. I am able to belt up to F5 or G5, but how do I increase my range? 3. When I sing higher, my volume will decrease and my tone will be inconsistent. How do I fix this? Last but not least, thanks for making great videos, teaching people how to sing etc. P/S: My life changed when I started singing. I don't do stupid behaviours anymore. FAREEZ, MALAYSIA Bye!

Hello 🖐️ justin a new follower over here am really interested in your couching techniques and can I ask a question please?...if yes this it ....when I was just a seven year old girl I loved singing actually I couldn't think of anything beyond singing and the moment I joined high schooI try hard to Quit coz I wanted to focus on my studies alone ..But no matter how hard I tried i would find my self singing and even composing songs of my own ...I always find myself filling all my school books with songs that came from my mind for instance if my mom would yell at me over something I would go far from there look for a cool place sit there and my mind would just adjust I would only find my self singing including my mom in the song and the difficulties she has been as through as a single mother ...I swear I would just tell myself wow where did you get the song from even when I have never been to a school of music a, Studio, never met any song writer nor did i met a vocal coach ...I always draw my song from my surroundings and what i normally came across ...My question is now that am done with my high school this year April 2021 being 18 year old girl will I be able to make my singing perfect and as a career to relay on in future????❤now that Celine Dion is my greatest inspiration

in my country if you're not a good singer and you share what you've done, people make fun of you and say you're incompetent and good for nothing

Yes! In many places around the world singing is seen as something that you must be very skilled at in order to do. This mentality is so discouraging to people who want to learn! We encourage everyone to sing and explore their voice regardless of where they are at on their Vocal Journey. We are all meant to sing! 💙 -NYVC
