According to her weibo, this video took her a whole year to make. She started planting the grass in summer 2019. In order to get the dye she need to soak the grass in water for 2 days to get the color out. Then she filter the colored water, add whitewash into it. She filter that water again and stir it. After stirring and filtering for several time, she got the blue mud we see in the video that is used for dying. To understand how much grass she used to get those blue mud. She used 30kg of grass to get 1.5 kg of dying mud. For the dying in this video she used 5 kg of dying mud. To transform the dying mud into the dye, she mix the mud with water and rice wine (the one she drink in the video). She need to keep the mixture at a warm temperature to ferment it. Fermentation took 5 days. After fermentation, she can start dying. For one clothes she used mixture of bean powder and whitewash to draw the pattern on clothes, so those part does not get dyed. For another clothes, the one with a girl on it. She used the wax to draw the pattern on clothes. That is why she have to boil that clothes after dying. She needs to get rid of the wax on it. As always, she wish everyone be careful in this difficult time. She send love to everyone.

I watched both of the videos and at first I didn’t realized what she was doing but I when I saw the process she had to go trough to make the clothes my heart pulse increased and I had goosebumps all over my body. I don’t know how to express the feelings I had then but I must say, those clothes are priceless and I think that nothing on earth can be exchanged for them.
