To pull that front cover off the bottom ram assembly needs to be removed from the unit as the ram connecting rod attaches to it went 1 step to far putting it back on

You can put a screwdriver i to the pull start assembly to lock it so it doesnt release on you

Years ago i saw one of the old "jumping jack" tampers and envisioned using a hopped up one as a sort of hot rod pogo stick 🤪. Have worked on all kinds of machines but never one of these nor seen ones innerds. ! If i get my hands on one you'll see me "hopped up on a hopped up pogo stick" as i go bouncin thru town like some out of control kangaroo ! Whoo Hoo.❗️🦘🦘
