Paranormal Round Table

10 ай бұрын

Every culture through the entirety of known human history has held legends of blood sucking parasitic humanoids feeding on unsuspecting victims. Long before Hollywood romanticized these creatures, humans lived in mortal fear of them. Is it possible that these beings are more than just legends? The eyewitnesses who shared tonight's stories would emphatically agree.

Well, if you mean an actual werewolf, then I'm not sure. If you're referring to a dogman-type creature, then I think it mainly comes down to the paranormal aspect. Perhaps people are more willing to accept the possibility of strange creatures out there, that might have a more biological foundation (such as bigfoot or dogman) compared to more paranormal phenomena, such as werewolves and vampires.

@@barneypuleo126 There is no evolutionary precedent, so to speak. True, compared to bigfoot for instance, where there's at least a certain theory, whether you believe in it or not. My main point was that people who consider the dogman phenomemon to be real, could very well see it as an actual flesh and bone creature, which is less of a leap of faith than believing in something paranormal. At least that's my assumption.

This is a absolutely killer good show. I live in the Ozark Mountains, I have had several bigfoot encounters and 1 dogman. Also I've had supernatural experiences . Now my husband has only 1 experience which I want to tell you, 1 night he went to his pickup to put important papers in there for a power presentation. This was around 10 pm , on his way back in something tried to pick him up , a flying creature , he felt it was a vampire, he dove to the ground and the wings slapped closed over him, he said the woosh was extremely loud and powerful. Then he ran back in and it shook him up. My neighbor on the acreage next to me had something make several attempts to pick her up on a rainy night many years ago. She recently died , but she told me this story a dozen times, she said she wouldn't look at it because the evil presence was so overwhelming. Thanks so much for these vampire shows, they are so interesting.

@dondamon4669 Sorry , I was typing fast , when I re read this I did leave some things out. When he dove to the ground he said it was instinct, felt that it was a survival thing. He had never experienced the force of wings like that before, it was like a freight train over him , a swooshing type power with force, he took a glance at it over his shoulder, saw a evil face, light colored, fangs, a evil powerful presence, it was a few inches close on top of him , he knew it could pick him up, it was a extremely powerful thing. Living out here in the Ozark Mountains for 25 years now. I feel like I've seen enough, my husband has had his experience . I had 1 frightening dogman experience. So many bigfoot experiences I can't even count it. If you ever have time to go camping up in the mountains here, you should spend . a week spring fall or summer , get a campsite then hike into the woods at night , find a nice private place to sit, build a tiny fire , just hangout , I guarantee you will have happen.

I dated a girl who had a lot of vampire like qualities… (She was pale, thin, and looked much younger than her age, and had the largest green eyes I had ever seen) as well as crazy paranormal phenomena that surrounded her and me during the relationship. It’s a long story, but I was attacked several times at night by some kind of entity (female, red hair, black eyes, and scars all over its body) and I would wake up with scratches. The girl was half Mexican and I was told by a Shaman later that this girl had a succubus like demonic entity, high level, that was attached to her lineage. And it manipulated both her and me in a psychic way, and was after my life force.

I was gonna say that it sounds like a demon because I've been attacked by demons while I was sleeping and one of the times I woke up with a big scratch down the right side of my face. I mean, it was huge! It started right under my temple and went all the way down to my jawline. When I woke up I was holding my cheek and it was stinging, and I couldn't believe what I saw when I looked in the mirror! One time I had just fallen asleep and I heard an audible demonic voice scream in my ear. I was afraid to open my eyes because I could feel a very heavy presence and it seemed like it was as close to me as it could get without actually touching me. I felt like if I opened my eyes there would be a demon nose to nose in my face. Finally I opened my eyes and as soon as I opened them I felt the dark presence lift and I didn't see anything, thankfully! Those are just 2 examples of my experiences with demonic attacks, but I've also seen what I believe was a Bigfoot. I live in Ohio and there are no bears or anything else that it could have been. There was a lil distance between me and the Bigfoot but it looked right at me and it immediately crouched down in the tall weeds and overgrowth where it was standing but I could still see the top part of its chest up to its head because it was just too big for the weeds and overgrowth to hide it. And when I called the sheriff's office to report what I had seen, the deputy I spoke to informed me that I wasn't the only one who saw it and called to report it! She said I was the 4th person within a couple of days to call and give the same description, and also the other calls had reported seeing it very close by to where I had seen it. So it sounded like she believed me, and maybe even was totally aware that Bigfoot exists. I'm sorry this comment is so long!

My idea is SLIGHTLY related on the connection of succubus and vampires. So Lilith is known to be the mother of demons, specifically succubus and incubus. I had an urge to connect with Lilith (out of curiosity) because I often call upon diety to see if they'll answer and the effects of that. Ie: dreams, animal signs, other signs in waking life. So I'm working with Lilith and I have a dream that I'm going to a party. But all around are these sexy vampire posters and people who look like that. I get freaked out and leave. When I walk out I meet such a beautiful woman. So stunning, long black hair, pale skin, red eyes and I know its Lilith. She looked like a vampire in every way. I wish I spoke to her (because you can do this in dreams if you are able to gain control). But I felt this horrible feeling of being prey. That i was near a predator. I called upon the Norse gods to protect me and remove me from here and they sent me to a very beautiful Nordic hall filled with viking looking people eating/drinking. They have protected me from many demonic forces actually! Anyways I believe there is a tie of vampire and succubus. They both feed on humans blood/energy.

Vampire culture originates from Serbia. The first vampires originated from Serbia then later spread to other parts of the globe. The word "Vampir" came into international use in the 18th century, when Austrian officials noted a local tendency in northern Serbia to exhume bodies and kill corpses all over again, with the locals referring to the cadavers as ‘vampires’ or "Vampiri" in Serbian. One of the earliest stories was the grisly tale of Petar Blagojević. Petar passed away in 1725 in fairly mundane circumstances, but the next week or so proved anything but for the poor people of Kisiljevo. Nine more people died within eight days. The villagers found his tomb and noticed the body had barely decomposed in the days since his death. His beard had also grown, and his skin seemed to have attained a new glow. The blood on his mouth was the final straw, so the villagers quickly drove a stake through the heart. The were numerous other cases in Serbia before it slowly started spreading to other parts of Europe and then the world later on. Thank you, Serbia for introducing Vampirism to the rest of the world! In the span of 300+ years, the whole world has managed to immerse itself with the concept of Vampirism.

A couple of years ago, I realized something that, while too simplistic to be true, was overwhelming in fact. If you've seen it in a movie, chances are that it is real to some extent. Movies show bigfoot, then there's bigfoot. Movies show werewolves, then there are werewolves. Movies show swamp creatures, then...well, you get the picture. Now, go back and figure out which monsters have REALLY been well covered in movies. Yep, they're real and they're out there. This may-or-may-not apply to aliens or 'man-made' Frankenstein monsters (though we now DO have genetic manipulation), in general, I firmly believe that legend drives movies, and the more movies on a singular topic, more-than-likely, someone invested some money to research the topic, and the movies show a storyteller's summary of the legend, fleshed-out.

I have some of the physical traits of the vampires you see in movies despite being mortal. I hardly ever bleed when I get cut, and even stopped bleeding while trying to donate blood. At the same time, I actually crave human blood. Sunlight, loud/high pitched noises, and garlic actually bother me. I just ate lasagna, and the sauce had a lot of garlic, so I'm going to be feeling that later. When it comes to sunlight, it bothers my eyes and makes me feel uncomfortable. Noises, however, can be attributed to the fact that I have autism, so I have heightened senses, which makes hearing loud/high pitched noises a living hell for me.

Look at all the statues of gargoyles. If people have never seen them, why so many statues on buildings and everything else?
@Premium_Water
@Premium_Water 9 ай бұрын
I think gargoyles are associated with death, or all sorts of evil spirits/entities. Though according to some gargoyle statues offered guardianship' to ward off evil spirits. So the interpretation varies when it comes to gargoyles. Whereas Vampirism is different its related to living flash or the dead coming back to life (actual people who had names/families) and sucking people's blood in order to survive or appease their appetites. Vampirism is associated with evil coming back to life to torment and kill people. Gargoyles are associated with Egyptians, Greeks, and Roman cultures who later made their way to Western European Medieval architecture. Vampirism is associated with Slavic culture, more precisely Serbian.

I'm not sure if they are real or not; but I worked security with I guy who claimed he was a Vampire. At first I just thought he was full of crap; but things that happened while working with him made me believe that he at least believed it. He told me the lore, and how he was turned. He did eat regular food. He claimed that currently he was on the outs with his coven. Things happened at work (night shift) that I couldn't explain. He told me the reason he was on the outs with his coven was that he refused to kill me. He said that they wanted me dead because I was a Captain in the Army of God. He said killing me would bring down serious consequences for the killers, and would be very difficult, and dangerous, for them. Twenty years have passed and over that time I have learned more about myself, and the war that rages between good and evil. He was the first one to introduce me to the realiity of werewolves, and dogmen. He said they are two distinct creatures. Not much was commonly known about them at the dawn of the internet. He told me of his coven coming across a very old werewolf that was trapped mid change and was in agony. He said the poured gasoline on it and burned it to put it out of its misery.

They exist but not in the way media has portrayed. You have no idea how powerful they are. In certain nations, whole tribes of them exist in 1 location, like a small town.

In reference to the second story. I live in central PA where we have been plagued with upright walking wolfs dating back to the early 1800's. The old accounts of this say that people said they were summoned by witches.

Good Podcast @paranormalroundtable. The vampire story from Portugal was probably the best one. Hearing the description of the vampire looking similar to Baraka from Mortal Kombat seeing how scary Baraka is, something with wings and some fuzz and beige coloured skin would scare the living daylights out of anyone. Another alleged Vampire I know is Arnold Paole from Serbia who in the 1700s was rumoured to have a body count to up to 10 to maybe a few tens in the village that Paole was buried. Vampires in those times were related to local epidemics but who knows truth is stranger than fiction.

My foster brother married this weird French Canadian hippie girl , in the early 70ds , they got divorced. Years later her and another Canadian hippie girl ,just showed up at the house, my brother went off to talk to his ex wife. They left me alone with this other girl , sorry but she was very plain looking ,I turned my eyes away from her , and when I turned back there was like the most beautiful girl I'd ever seen ! I looked at her really hard and there was the same plain girl ,I thought what the he'll is going on !! I looked back at her again and there was that beautiful girl again , I stepped way away from her and said , you keep playing games with me, and it's going to get really bad for you ! She was using some type of Magic ,to alter her appearance ! So it can surely be done by an average person, with the correct knowledge! Let alone demonic entities, it's effortless, it's what they Are !

ive definitely read of a type of dark magic/magick/magik that allegedly originated in Scotland, called Glamoury. I just pulled up my notes, and there are a couple of similar definitions, one being: "Glamoury is an ability Witches have to transform themselves into something else. This is where our word “glamour” originated. Glamoury is more than beauty though-it is the projection of allure and charisma. Glamoury demands attention, reverence, and awe." Sounds like troll neighbor guy had this in his bag of tricks.

I'm not really interested in the whole 'flying bat-winged humanoid' thing, as that's more crypto zoology than vampire lore. I don't consider them vampires, more akin to bigfeet or something. I prefer the old European stories where the vampire was someone from your town, your next-door neighbor or even family. Someone who was once human but became something else. It's way more interesting that way and seems eerily more real. But that's just me.

Awesome episode dudes! Vampires freak the eff out of me. Dark Waters did an encounter called the winged ones, which reminds me of what that electrician encountered. Creepy stuff! I also heard vampires are kind of like skinwalkers, the more you think/talk about them, the more likely they are to find you.

When you look at history and texts like the bible that talk about the worship of baal and moloch, and how God would prohibit anyone to drink blood, it becomes easier to believe vampires exist.

I apologize to Kirk and Abnormal Investigations when a few shows back I stated I didn’t think Kirk was doing the show with Mike any longer. A viewer was nice enough to share with me that Kirk was in fact still with Mike. Now I know I confused Kirk with the other ‘co-host’ that is no longer with Mike. The guy I was thinking of smoked the entire show. Sorry about that.

I had a hard time with dogman but, then I had to remind myself what I have seen and dealt with and how it made me feel when I had to tell it. I think there are shape shifters that are something else but get called what they look like at the time. The fact that we are seeing more and more of these things is because of the time we are living in. Call them whatever, what they are is evil and it's only going to get worse. Some families bloodlines are followed from generation to generation, it doesn't end and you can't hide.

This is the first time I really listen to this show. It's very easy for people to say they do not believe in a certain something or do so simply because they don't want to know it's there. There are countless people who refuse to believe that witches exist, for example, and that is funny to me because I am a witch. I was 17 months old when my magic started manifesting, so I can confidently say that I've been a witch my entire life, as are the rest of my family. As far as vampires go, I find this to be a very intriguing topic. I had an acquaintance some years ago, a fellow witch. He isn't the only witch I know of who's claimed to have some interactions with supposed vampires, but for this comment I'll only be talking about his exposure experience, as it relates to something I saw years later. Now, apparently, he grew up having a sort of "friendship" with a man who taught him a lot of stuff concerning vampires. As in, insanely detailed stuff. Some of these included various different species ranging from some looking close to human, whilst others looking quite non-human, that they aren't actually immortal as Hollywood would depict, and that some actually do have mystical or psychical abilities, and apparently, many weren't akin to being very friendly with us witches in general. I didn't know at that time whether or not I personally felt any truth from his story, but fast forward about 4 years later, I was on the way back from Washington DC, going home to South Africa. At the airport there was a young man who really stood out to me. Pale white skin, dark, deep set eyes, and was acting as if he was very nervous. Not all that weird, right? Well, what caught my attention is that this man was completely otherworldly to me in appearance. Curiously, no one else seemed to be noticing his odd behavior or look. What's more, is that the moment I became aware of him, this guy literally sniffed the air like an animal, and then turned and looked me dead in the eyes. Mind you, there was some distance between us, praise The Goddess. Once I got home, I managed to make contact with this old acquaintance and he told me that some of them can tell if someone has magic in their blood, and that they are able to do this through smell, and that may be the very reason this guy could tell I sensed him, or rather something odd about his presence. The entire experience was definitely a weird one, even for my standards. I still don't actually know if that young man was a real vampire, but I am almost 100% certain he was not human or witch.

DISCLAIMER: No offense intended to any culture, just posing a question so here goes - I noticed so many countries like Brazil, Spain, etc. have a LOT of sightings of these types of creatures and I am just wondering if some of these things are in existence because of some of the magical religions that are still practiced there by some? I also know in the US states like Louisiana, where Voodoo is still practiced, there are sightings and encounters of these very creatures.

i think there are probly different kinds of vamps too... i saw a movie that I believe had basis in truth/fact... and was set in Romania I believe, and the elderly men who served in war(s) and food supply cut off; said to survive that had to ingest blood. i dont know if it started as some sort of blood letting and progressed, etc., but apparently after having to do that in multiple tours and wars, they became dependent on it... so those particular vamps didnt have wings or woo powers... its an interesting concept
