In this section, we discuss the specific scientific processes which dictate the thoughts in our heads creating the emotions we feel in our body.
Every time we have a neurological connection, it leads to an impulse in the brain that triggers the necessary emotions. If we think we are in danger, we panic. If we think something will be pleasurable, we feel happy or excited...
However, just thinking about this triggers the feeling. So that means something bad doesn't have to happen to us in order for us to feel as though it is happening right now. All we have to do is think about it.
The reverse is also true. When we focus on hope, we get motivated and energized.

This class is all about using acting and improvisation techniques used by some of the most famous and successful celebrities alive to understand your own emotional processes and communicate in a more confident way.
We will learn how to decrease stress, anxiety, and depression, as well as boost self-esteem, self-awareness, and self respect. Using a blend of positive psychology, mental wellness, performance art therapy, mindfulness, and cognitive behavioral therapy (cbt) we are going to learn how we can become self-motivated and empowered by self-expression.
I have studied acting techniques my entire life. I have trained at the Stella Adler institute for acting where such oscar nominated actors as Marlon Brando, Robert DeNiro, Mark Ruffalo, Benicio Del Torro, Selma Hayek, and Kevin Costner. I then went on to train at the Steppenwolf Theater company who has given us such legends as John Malkovich, Gary Sinise, and Pulitzer Prize/ Tony award winner Tracey Letts. Finally I trained at the Groundlings School of Improvisation where such comedic icons trained as Will Ferrell, Melissa McCarthy, Jason Sudeikis, and Kristen Wiig.
However, it was when I began teaching acting and improvisation techniques inside of the maximum security prisons, jails, and homeless shelters of Los Angeles that I realized acting techniques have incredible results when learning about an individuals thoughts, actions, emotions, and behavioral therapy.
I created my company and have since used theatre techniques and stand up comedy to teach emotional intelligence, effective communication, mental toughness, resilience, anger management, and self esteem building courses for the United States armed services, nurses during the covid-19 pandemic, top corporate businesses, non-profit organizations, and even art therapists in Ukraine who are helping wounded soldiers and their families.
I love movies, acting, theater, film, dance, music, and comedy... and I want to use those as tools to create a positive impact on the current state of the world, beginning with the one place champions, revolutionaries, inventors, and entrepreneurs begin... their own mindset. I hope you enjoy the course, and it brings you lasting joy and fulfillment forever.
