We are checking out Epcot’s Garden Grill for Dinner! This is a Walt Disney World Character Dining located in The Land Pavilion. This is a slowly rotating restaurant where you meet Mickey, Pluto, Chip & Dale, while seeing scenes of the Epcot ride Living With The Land. Last time I was here it was the 2020 re-opening day of Epcot and it has CHANGED! This has always been one of most recommended character dinings, but you NEED TO KNOW what happened to us so it does not happen to you!

We have only had breakfast at GG, and always love it, but I agree with you totally. If we all pay the same price, we should all get the same experience. No excuses! Also, for 60+ dollars, food should be correctly prepared, hot and tasty. Good honest review.

Character dining is such an experience we pay a lot and it’s so varied. I did Cinderella’s royal table and it felt super rushed too… whereas the Tusker House and Akershus were much nicer experiences… This should be a reviewed process for them cause Character Dining needs to be worth the while

Aw this makes me sad…used to be my bronze medal character meal (after Topolino’s and Tusker House). Good thing Livin with the Land and Soarin still make the pavilion worth a visit!

I was listening to a podcast recently and a family who had an earlier reservation said the same thing. They felt the food came out too quick and it was rushed. 😢

They used to have a delicious flank steak there, which my wife and I loved, but it looks like they don't have it anymore. Thanks for the honest review.

Thank you for all of the info. I’ll be traveling to disney this year and plan on only doing Epcot and Magic Kingdom with my wife and daughters. I’ve been watching your footage on all the parks and it’s super helpful I think I’ll definitely avoid the Garden Grill 🤔. I would try breakfast but before 10:30. I feel that’s the best version to try.

I've always liked the Garden Grill breakfast way better than the dinner. I'm sad the stuffing is gone, that was my favourite. I'll have to talk to the hubs and see if we can switch our dinner for breakfast on our summer trip.

It’s probably a safer bet, but definitely make sure it’s not a late reservation.

We tried GG for the first time last February. We never went there prior to that. I thought the food was amazing and the characters were wonderful. No complaints at all.

We had lunch there in Dec and really enjoyed it. Did you end up having to ask for the dessert? Seems like they were either having an off day or like you said, 7:55 is not the reservation to make. Sorry it wasn’t a better experience.

We went for breakfast in February of this year. We were in the earlier reservations and we only saw the characters once. It also came quickly along with the characters so food was cold when we got to eat it.

We ate here last week for lunch. I thought it was great! Maybe not $60+ great, but didn’t leave feeling disappointed.

We've had the last reservation at Topolino's and they made sure that every character came by at least once so that is a good option for a late breakfast reservation and still getting the character time.

Sup Demi! Garden Grill: Disney rotation dining…on The Land. Sorry🤣 I’ve never dined here, but after seeing this, I think I would have to pass. Even though the characters here are incredibly cute, the food quality and the fact that the characters leave before the restaurants closes is a big turn off. In my opinion, there are much better options for character dining. Those desserts looked good though.

Same. I think it’s just reservation time. I’m sure there’s more food turn over so it’s hot plus more time with characters.

Sad that it's a skip because Chip & Dale are my favorites. But have had similar disappointment with the food and service. Same where they brought the entree two minutes after the salad. Our server brought the salad before we could ask for dressing on the side- only way my kid will eat salad. She actually said no, it comes from the kitchen that way. I responded that salad doesn't arrive in the kitchen with dressing- the cooks mix it in, and asked again if we could have one with dressing on the side. She said no, brought our meal two minutes later, and then we didn't see her again until we'd been done eating for over 30 minutes- had to ask someone to get her, so we could ask for dessert. Then another 30 minutes before we saw her again, to ask for the check. So our meal took way too long, used up so much park time, because she was MIA. Sad because I want to like it, for the characters. But for the price, and to not love the food, and have bad service, I really can't again.

Just came back from WDW and was looking forward to our dinner there. Soooo disappointed !! We didnt get the veggies and dip, our mac and cheese came in a bowl so it was cold. The skillet was not as full so we had to order more food. The apple pie was half the size of youra and cold. In Canadian dollars it was a 200 dollar meal . Please avoid at all costs, Our server was great as the characters were but NOT worth it!! Get a sandwich and dessert in France world showcase!!! No excuse Disney😡

I have never been and never will be a fan of all you can enjoy skillet meals. My family is picky, but in different ways - including me - I hate skillet meals, not enough variety. A la carte is my preference but at least a buffet ensures everyone has something they want to eat.
