사실 정환이는 이 장면 전에 이미 덕선이를 포기했음. 덕선이가 소개팅한 남자랑 같이 가기로 한 콘서트 약속이 펑크난 걸 알고 영화보는 내내 망설이다 영화 후반부에야 간절하게 달려갔지만, 택이가 미리 와 있던 걸 알게 됨. 그 때 정환이는 이제껏 간간히 주어졌던 기회를 잡지 않았던 자기와, 중요한 순간마다 타이밍을 놓치지 않았던, 그래서 혼자남은 덕선이와 같이있으려 경기도 불참하고 바로 달려간 택이의 간절함은 그 크기가 다르다는 걸 알게 됨. 친구 둘이 행복하라고 자기 행복을 포기했다기보단, 더 간절했고 더 노력해온 사람이 사랑의 행복을 얻게 된다는 룰을 깨닫고 결과에 승복한 거임. 아마 그래서 정환이는 여기서 택이에게 마음놓고 덕선이를 잡으라고 말하는 게 진심이었을 것임. 자기는 쓰디쓴 결과를 받아들이는데 승자가 자기 생각해서 머뭇거리고 있는 걸 보고 있자니 속이 터지겠지. 그런 면에서 마지막의 "으휴..답답해가지고" 도 진심임. 정환이는 첫사랑의 실패로 큰 성장을 했고 이 뒤 에피소드들에서 가족등 주변사람들에게 대하는 태도도 달라짐. 관심과 애정을 더 드러냄. 나도 정환이의 어리고 서툰 방식이 너무 짠해서 어남류라면 어남류였지만 정환이의 첫사랑은 실패여서 더 의미가 있다고 생각함...

이거지 ㄹㅇ 어남택이 맞았음 정환이는 영화 보는 30분동안 고민하다가 후반부에 달려갔지만 택이는 소식 듣자마자 바로 경기 포기하고 덕선이한테 달려갔잖아.. 최택 최고

정환이는 집에서도 항상 아픈 형을 배려해야했고 그래서 진학에도 영향이 없지 않았고 형때문에 고생하는 엄마도 배려해야하며 컸죠. ..어찌보면 둘째가 가진 컴플렉스이기도 한데 자기마음을 표현하기보다 주변 눈치를 본의아니게 보게 되는 성향이 있어요. 덕선이가 선우 짝사랑할때도 뒤에서 지켜보다 깨지면 좋아하고 하지만 나서지 못하고 덕선이가 자기를 좋아해주기를 기다리다 막상 좋아하는 눈치가 보이거나 확인을 원하면 뒤로 물러서는 상황이었죠. 반면 택이는 약하고 순해보여도 오랜기간 바둑을 두면서 길러진 정신적인 세계가 다르죠. 공격의 기회를 놓치지 않으며 자기의 성을 지킬 줄 알기에 자기마음에 확신이 들면 바로 상대방에게 표현을 하는 방식이라 정환이 마음을 알고도 무시했다기보다 자기의 마음이 확실했기에 덕선에게 고백했고 덕선이가 어릴때부터 자기를 챙겨주고 필요한 존재라는 것도 알고 있는거죠. 여자는 우락부락하고 남성스러운 남자도 좋지만 결국은 자기가 좋아한다는 표시를 학실히하고 확신을 심어주며 자존감을 살려주는 다정한 남자를 선택할 수 밖에 없답니다.

정환이가 택이한테 덕선이잡아 할때 "기억날그날이와도" 가 깔리는데 응팔애청자로서 정말마음찢어짐...이노래가사가 딱 정환이랑덕선이얘기예요.....어남류여러분정말눈물납니다...노래랑특히 가사꼭찾아보세요.....정말가슴아프고 힘들어요...ㅋㅋ 드라마보면서 몇일째 가슴아프게한건 응팔이 처음이네요..ㅠㅠ 정말잊지못할드라마지만 19,20회는진짜..조금시간이지나야 다시볼수있을듯....하아아아아

그래도 응팔 마지막에 정환이행복하게지내는모습이라던지(칠봉이가정유미만나듯이)뭔가잘지내고있는모습이라도보여주셨으면...그나마괜찮았을텐데..ㅠㅠ.여태보여준덕선이를향한정환이마음을시청자들이너무나도잘알기에 정환이너무불쌍해서눈물나네요.....응팔슬픔의늪에서어떻게빠져나오죠...ㅋ 누가좀꺼내주세요...ㅠㅠ.

진짜 멋있다..친구를 위해 오랜 짝사랑 포기하는게 얼마나 힘든건데..진짜 짝사랑 너무 힘들어 울엄마가 옛날에 진짜 이뻐서 반 남자들이고 동네고 다 좋아했다는데 친구가 너무 좋아하니까 포기하고 너무 슬퍼했다는데 엄마 이야기가 이거랑 비슷한것같음 우리엄마가 그래서 이 드라마를 자꾸 보나.. 옛날 엄마때랑 1988 드라마랑 너무 똑같다고 고백편지보면 진짜 비슷함

뭔가 덕선이랑 택이 마음이 쌍방인거 아는데 택이가 자기 때문에 사랑하는 여자 못잡는거 같으니까 말한거 같아서 슬펐음. 그러고 나서 동네가 붕괴되고 뿔뿔이 흩어지면서 정환이도 증발해버린게 너무 현실적이라 잔인해서 시청자들이 몇년이 지나도 정환이를 못놓는거 같음. 동네 친구라 성인이 되서도 친하게 지낼 수 있었던 건데 이사가고 흩어지면 서로 살기 바빠서 연락 끊어지는건 일도 아니니까... 게다가 저런 친구는 직업군도 전혀 다르기 때문에 자연스럽게 멀어지게 되어있음. 난 어남택이긴 했지만 정환이를 저렇게 스토리에서 증발시킨건 너무 했다고 봄. 응사 칠봉이처럼 짝이라도 만들어 줬으면 다들 이렇게 몇년동안 어남류앓이는 안했을듯... 정환이가 남편이 아니어도 아끼는 캐릭터였는데 그냥 잘사는 모습이라도 보여줄수 있지 않았나 싶어 아쉽고 19, 20회는 어남택조차 절레절레하는 회차...

응칠은 전형적인 남주, 여주 거의 1인스토리 급이었고 응사는 주연급캐릭터들을 모두 연결시켜주어서 드라마에서 오는 주인공에 대한 시청자애정을 모두 풀어주었고 응팔은 너무 현실적이었음... 가족관계, 시대상 반영부터 성인이되면서 그립지만 멀어진 친구사이까지... 주제가 청춘이어서 그런지 몰라도 아련하게 남은 미련이 꼭 현실에서 지나간 날을 돌이켜도 되돌릴수없는걸 나타내는듯 했음

@@user-iw2xj3os6c ㅠㅠ 너무 맞는 말씀인듯. 그래도 뭔가 시청자 입장에서는 정환이가 덕선이 택이 인터뷰를 스쳐지나가듯 보며 그랬던 시절이 있었지 잘지내는구나 하면서 추억해주는 장면이 나왔으면 어땠을까 싶긴해요. 그냥 뿔뿔이 흩어져도 잘 살고 있다는거 한 컷만 보여줬어도 만족했을거 같은데 너무 칼같이 끊어낸거 같아서 맘아프달까요...

Seriously I don't get it why so many of u are hating. It would have been totally obvious if Junghwan has been the husband. And in reply series usually the "bad" boy who is actually really nice got the girl. so this time it is not like that. I think everything turned out really great! and the drama is about so much more than bout the love triangle. It is about family and friends! If u don't like the ending well than okay.. but stop cursing please and STOP saying bad things bout the actors! they only played the role.

It was one of the greatest twists of all the Kdramas I've watched this year. So, I guess... well done, writers for doing the unexpected. And well done actors for their superb performance that makes me wanna cry in almost every episode; Park Bo Gum, Ryu Jun Yeol, you guys are great.

I believe their friendship (JH and CT) is the most precious thing in this drama. They are truly like brothers. JH acts like CT's older brother and looks out for him. He realized last episode that CT needed DS more earnestly (and that's why he hesitated so much for so long) and has decided to step down and move on for CT's sake. He even acts like is no big deal, when we know it cost him dearly to give up. No matter who DS ends up in the end, I have to give credit to JH for his maturity and love for CT.

이제와서 다시.보면 정환이 캐릭터가 너무 강렬했다. 그래서 어남류가 아니어서 너무 큰 실망이었는데 다시 보니 정환이는 십대의 풋풋하고 아련한 첫사랑을 연기한듯. 첫사랑은 언제나 실패란 공식처럼..중간중간 정환이는 망설이고 멈췄지만 택이는 직진..남들이 볼땐 어남류인듯 하다 갑자기 어남택으로 바뀐듯 보이지만 중간중간 계속 힌트는 있었다. 첨부터 남편은 택이로 정해진 시나리오가 맞았다. 덕선의 캐릭터에서 보면 선우를 좋아했다가 실패한건 덕선이의 첫사랑.. 정환이는 덕선이를 좋아했다 결국 놓친 첫사랑..

Oh goodness...I'm so torn haha I was rooting for JH like many of the fans but I guess taek needed her more... Whatever the drama wasn't supposed to be only about their love line anyway~ seems like JH has moved on and is happy for them... But still so heartbreaking at the same time.... So unexpected!

Fortunately, it's taek! I love them both, but it just a drama anyway, i got a lot of lessons from this drama , stop saying this is the worst drama just because you dont like the ending, please grow up, even in the reality,life not always like u always expect. Junghwan and taek are both good actors that make us love the character so much

I hope he gets a male lead in a drama soon. I just wanna see him happy I guess. I'm sad they didn't even give him a little closer :( that's what I'm mad about. Even in 1994, the one dude didn't get the girl but he found someone and I was happy enough. They didn't give JUNG ANYONE! They didn't even do closer for the othe characters either. Wasn't this supposed to be a family drama? They should have gave us scenes of everyone's life's too

Junghwan as pilot, dukseon as stewardess. it will be nice plot if they two ended up together. after all this story is all about pure friendship. not all love ended up with marriage..seeing your loved one happy, is the good feeling tho. cause JH is one character that is selfless, filial son and not a type sweet-talker man. but he's a caring and considerate person. he deserves the best women in his life. I hope, the next reply series we could see JH happily life as a married person.

Junghwan has already decided to give up on Deoksun long times ago since he thought Sunwoo actually liked Deoksun, he just couldn't move on. Everytime he chose his friendship. He ignored Deoksun right after Taek's confession already proved that he chose Taek. I'm only mad because director made it obvious that the husband gonna be Junghwan so viewers expected that much, they even gave them more screen time than the main couple that's why we can't move on immediately since their chemistry were too strong

i would’ve liked if they focused more on how deok-sun’s own feelings were developing instead of showing that through jung-hwan and taek’s perspective. they hinted it when they showed us she was bothered about the fact taek cancelled plans and when she stuttered because he leaned his head on her shoulder. i think if we got to see that it wasn’t a dream when they first kissed and that she lied because she was scared etc, her decision to choose taek would seem much more natural. they obviously didn’t for the sake of the love triangle but it’s whatever. i love taek i’m happy he’s w her

I agree that they showed Deoksun's perspective perfectly with that, and we are all aware that she stayed in his room, etc after DR told her to go for who she likes instead of thinking about who likes her. She chose Taek long before 1994

But.. but.. When I see it from Deok asun perspective, I feel she always like Taek (whatever the meaning of that like is) more than other guy, more than she herself realised. Instead of scream to the guy to confess, I scream, "Deok Sun please see inside your heart. Who you always love. Don't listen to your girlfriend."

first of all, im not on #junghwanteam or #taekteam and i love/root for anyone who ends up with DS. but I dont understand those who blame on the writers and say that this is the worst reply series just because the ending might be not what you expected. reply 1988 actually has its own uniqueness on how they portray family and friends relationship compared to the other series. plus, anything could happen on the next episode. brace yourself and lets hope for the best! #REPLYavidfan

누구보다 절절했던 사랑이 영화처럼 완벽하게 이뤄지지 않고 현실적인 결론으로 끝나버려서 더 기억에 남는 거 아닐까.. 우린 정환이한테 우리를 투영하고 정환이 시점에서 같이 덕선이를 바라보며 같이 덕선이를 짝사랑했을지도

It's soo sad, how can a person be too much good, He isn't good, He is a fool. I can't belive He doesn't care about DS. In the dra,a Taek had the roll of a good boy, but the REAL good boy here is JH, He always give everything to other people...It's just so sad for me. He didn't receive a reply from DS, his lovely heart is too much, his hapiness is the most important fact of the next episode, not how BR and SW marry or how DS and CT go out...HIS HAPPY ENDING is the most important thing for me. I'm going to watch it waiting a amazing life for him...I don't want to see other twist, just leave him be happy PLEASE.

+Gulie _ Who say anything She can go out with the man that She wants and I'm ok with this, but you can't say that He isn't the best boy in the ficcional world, so He need a good ending, because He suffered to much, if He love and hapiness tomorrow I won't be angry or sad like today, but today I just can't stop to think about his pitiful love story. It has been the best "first love" story so far, even if He didn't got the girl.

NO ONE will ever know how much Jung Hwan loved DS. NO ONE will ever know how much he cared for each and every moment.
