I love how you and Ranger both have built these gigantic armies, but your first reaction is to talk about what's left to add on. It just proves that a miniatures project is never done. 😆

Thanks man! I noticed a brief clip of our game set up in a video but that guy called it "Hundred Years War" 🤔. I will have a full run down video up in a day or two with some footage. Some lessons learned for next year, but all in all the game was an amazing success that exceeded my expectations.

Just wow. That looks really amazing. Honest question, though: How do you transport those? I think a simple "marching order" won't get them from A to B, wagons or not. ;)

For my stuff, I actually was able to fit the Romans and baggage into two large plastic bins, the Germans into three, and then the mats and terrain in another couple boxes. I put them into the bins roughly organized by how they would appear in the game, and it all fit very easily in the back of an SUV. Surprisingly, transportation was very easy! The key though I think is using large footprint storage bins with a low profile.

I think Marius fought two big battles against the separate German tribes, one at Aquae sextiae and the other at Vercellae(?) That would also make a decent display game. How many figures have you painted? Very impressive armies.

For this project 1300 miniatures, lifetime I am not sure. Usually I do 200-400 a year over the past 5 years. 1300 in a year is kind of a one off thing lol
