Experience the best of Australia's Gold Coast in this epic 80km / 3 hour virtual bike ride on a Specialized Epic Evo bike - with all natural sound! The weather is perfect for cycling with the temperature at 21C / 70F and a warm winter sun taking the edge of the cool sea breeze.
Our journey begins at the Gold Coast sea-wall which is located on the Gold Coast Spit. From the lighthouse at the tip of The Spit we cruise along beside the ocean for most of the 35km ride South to Coolangatta before heading 35kms back a slightly different way and ending at Runaway Bay.
The final leg takes us a further 12kms through Main Beach and Federation Walk then back to our starting point. The bike is a 2022 Specialized Epic Evo cross-country mountain bike and this video was filmed on a Gopro 8.
