I bought the album and used the songs in it for a documentary on the Great Depression. Me and my partner got 1st place in our "qualifying" division, then 1st in the State round, and went on to the National competition. We couldn't have done it without this music. Thanks for making the songs!!!

The slow piano intro sounds like grief of what was lost... Then the slow violin that creeps in is the anger that has slowly been building, which stems from the pain deep within. The grief and anger mixed together, both keep each other going like a vicious cycle...

I was applying to an art-based high school for film and the teacher that was interviewing us was showing a few examples of work from previous students - one of them used this song in their film, and the teacher said that he couldn't find it anywhere, and I just said, "That's easy. Secession Studio, may you last as long as you shall, for I can't stop listening to you. Glad that you'd rather play guitar than succeeding at your History Day project. I'm in last year of highschool and next year I'm assured to go work in a 3D development school, and I just can't find the strength to still get up everyday to do something that I hate when I know what's waiting for me, and how much more of a happy person that'll make me to stand up from my bed every mornings. To head to a place that I'll love, to do stuff that I love, to end up doing amazing stuff that will be loved, just like you.
