been playing alot of broodwar because of the quarantine. havn't played this game in over 10 years! thought id let you know its great that someone out there is putting out great content for BW.

To be honest, my first thought was: Ah man, I don't feel like cheesy games. But, This was awesome. Loved to see all that great micro.

I usually prefer the longer macro match-ups, but this compilation is really amazing.

This is a good reminder for me since you tend to focus on longer macro games, that it's easy to forget that Zerg can be really scary in the early game.

Brood war will forever be my top game ever played. Many school nights sneaking online to play. Lol

OMFG squeal you are my savior this is the most exciting compilation ever The common theme of these games is early action, not cheese. Definition of cheese: 1. Using an overpowered strategy that does not require much skill. 2. Purposely exploiting a glitch.

In archeon vs eonzerg a probe scouted the third because on Cirquit Breakers zerg always sends an overlord up or down (not left or right) to scout your natural first. So if you scout the third on the opposite side, you know where the zerg is by seeing where the overlord comes from and whether it comes at all.

The gundams vs shuttle game reminds me of my very first P v T. Ive only ever played brood war online when it first came out in 98. Back then people just either cannon rushed or went for mass bcs mutas/guardians and carriers. Ive never played an online since until 2020 both on brood war and starcraft 2. Dude went 1 tank and 4 marines with two scvs and before i knew it i was in the same situation but the guy already had turrets set up and by the time i got an arbiter and shuttle ready he had wraiths waiting. Ive yet to win any games on brood war but i do pretty well on sc2.

Movies dragoon movement was insanely good. The zerglings couldn't even touch them. He would take one shot then stutter step back into another shot and it constantly made the things almost attack then have to move. That was amazing

idk if some of these one base plays count as cheese though, seems like perfectly valid if unconventional strats

Did anyone else find it amusing that artofshuttle did not use his shuttle ( when he really needed to be)? I was wishing he would drop zealots on the tanks or enemy scvs, but he just kept building more goons and attack area.

These cheese's last 5 minutes at the most? Fast forwarding them makes it feel like your just trying to hurry and get through them, pick a time in which you aren't busy to cast that way it doesn't feel like this is something your just trying to hurry and get through.

I don't see how some are cheeses. Like the second one is just a goon rush and he stomped the zerg who was trying to long game.

Fun videos, but any good player would state these are not cheese. Building in the middle, 4 pool, things like that are. Having a Reaver and dragoons is not a cheeze, nor is building dragoons to stop a Zerg Expansion. High Level games but not Cheeze or Bad Manner play from what I saw.
