Hey Viggo!! I absolutely ADORE this Babylonian-inspired city, which is probably what you were thinking of with the blue decoration! This thing I am about to recommend will sound nutty, so take that into consideration as you read! H. P. Lovecraft wrote a couple of stories that take place in the desert, in particular The Nameless City - please consider making something Lovecraft-inspired, with maybe Alchemist workshops where they tirelessly work to discover horrible things, or temples dedicated to weird, monstrous and evil Gods with tentacles To quote the Lovecraft wiki: "The Islamic holy book the Koran mentions Iram by name, a city of towers or "lofty buildings". Its inhabitants were a people known as the Ad, and they were given over to evil, having turned away from holy teachings." Bonus: Many Rulers in the ancient Babylonian period considered themselves God-Kings, hope you have fun with that concept! Really hope this comment isn't too all-over the place and that you get some cool food for thought - Potatoknight!

Perhaps some Petra inspired areas carved into the mountain in this desert country and some Arabic style marketplaces with shade covering the streets etc. idk I think that would be a cool way to show the wealth of the city with gold merchants and spice merchants.

It looks so cosy under the sun shaders in the perimeter of the plaza, the whole place is so beautiful, giving me vibes of Qarth from Game of Thrones, love it!

Looks awesome, but I suggest you to remove the stairs that lead up to the wall in the first wall, so if the enemies broke through the first gate they couldnt get on top of the walls. If you remove the stairs, you could easily make it that the soldiers, in order to get to the first wall, would have to walk on the walls. I also suggest you to add merlons in the "inner" side of the wall: this way the archers are protected by enemy arrows even if they broke through the first gate. Another thing, I think you should do some terraforming, like small patches of sand elevated from the ground, just to not give that "flat" that zone has. Lastly, I think that you should add better texturing both on the exteriors of the walls and in the interiors, and perhaps add more cranes, utility stuff, etc. For example, I think it would be a good idea to add cranes filled with rock on the walls, or arrows. Perhaps make some merlons be a bit ruined. Just small details, to make the interiors feel more "alive". Your buildings looks awesome, i think you are the best builder i have ever seen lol, but lately, in your videos, maybe it is just my impression, but i saw that the interiors lack a bit of realism. Another small thing: i think you should fill in those empty spaces in the plaza (where the sand is) in some way, i dont know, maybe with small markets, statues, i dont know. I think that It doesnt make much sense to have that much empty and unused space in a highly residential area, where people almost fight to get the space needed to make a house. (Also, i think you should make small "gatehouses" in the inner towers, because right now everybody could get inside the towers, since there is no door or anything separating the plaza from the towers lol). As always, good job, cant wait to see more!

As an idea, maybe a forum or some sort of political or religious building could be awesome!

This city should be full of slaves and masters, with big arena like coloseum or big bank, nobility live in smaller pyramids also I would like to see aqueduct
