This is the raw footage from a live-stream outside of an abortion clinic in Arizona. Jeff Durbin spoke with one of the regular Planned Parenthood supporters named Errol. The popular documentary channel, Vice, was present at the clinic (during the live-stream) filming for a documentary about Jeff and Apologia Church.
Their conversation moved in and out of a variety of topics: abortion, transgenderism, law, Gospel, and Karate.

@Nobody J OR...we could just not do the thing that causes babies to exist if we're not ready to take responsibility for another life. Sex is a great pleasure that comes with high potential of great responsibility. Our culture divorces the perks of being an adult from the responsibilities of being an adult, and we end up with millions of murdered babies, not to mention the inability to cope with reality. The intended purpose for the law in general is to uphold the moral fibers of society. Should the government stop regulating murder just because it's a moral issue? Should murderers be allowed to murder in order to preserve freedom of choice? Obviously not, because that's morally heinous. If a pregnant woman is murdered, the murderer is charged with a double homicide, so the law recognizes that an unborn baby is indeed a human life. If you want the right to do whatever you want with your 'baby maker', a right which you do indeed have currently, you should accept the responsibility that comes with it rather than using murder of an innocent human life, which is a separate body from your own, as a cop out.

He said he left the faith because he was told he couldn’t be forgiven. But then he made it clear. He left because he would have had to give up the sin he loves so much to be forgiven. That’s every single unsaved persons problem. What an encouraging interaction. Praying for him.

The real reason that man left faith is because he wishes to indulge in the sin of homosexuality. I don't know if it was in this video or another but he talks about his homosexual relationships which are in direct violation of God's commands. It's terrible when a person chooses selfish desires over our Creator that provides endless love and joy. It is probably the most saddening thing to a Christian to watch as the souls of these people are destroyed by the earthly desire which are not even them blip to eternity.

If God says its sin whatever it is its sin because God says it is. We humans want to hold onto our sins and live life on our terms. Sin will always corrupt and destroy. We have to be willing to give our lives to God, put ones trust and faith in Him and as Jesus said to the woman at the well.....Go And Sin No more. I've learned when someone says they lost their faith or something like that for the most part they never did accept Jesus into their heart. You cannot lose your salvation. You can stop having faith usually because your confused or not on the right track. He needs to truly give his life to Christ and be in the company of other believers to support one another. Iron sharpens iron.

@@conservativeeepatrick6752 God will give everyone time to come to Him. God is slow to anger because He doesn't want to smack someone upside their head so to say. He wants everyone to come to Him. But we have a free will to choose. Those who reject Him will be in a place of torment and there won't be any 15 min breaks. The bible gives enough info that hell is real and you don't want to go there. We all have to choose. God's way or the hell way.

My son has Down Syndrome, cystic fibrosis, he aspirates, and he stops breathing at night. He is the absolute most incredible person I’ve ever known in my life. I’m so grateful and blessed God picked me to be his momma! I lead a baseball league for people with special needs. I have 5 year olds to people in their 50’s. They are all amazing and I love being with them and watching them reach their goals. It makes me so sad to hear people argue that it should be ok to have an abortion bc a baby MAY have a disability. I see so many of God’s characteristics in my son and my team. He created them in their mother’s wombs and He knew their unformed bodies!!! They are wonderfully made. It tells us in Psalm 139.

OMG I had no idea what abortifacient was. I'm at work crying right now because my wife and I thought the pill thickened the vaginal liquid and stopped the egg from being released, had no idea that IF THE EGG IS FERTILIZED THE PILL CAUSES IT TO BE EXCRETED DURING YOUR PERIOD (I.e. abortion). I'm writing this to inform anyone else who doesn't know like myself.

Yes exactly! It's called birth control because it prevents the birth not the life of the child. The pill has two functions 1) estrogen to prevent ovulation. 2) progesterone to prevent implementation of a fertilized ovum. Causing an early abortion. When I learned this 20 year's ago I stopped right away. Not ok with me and this was never explained by the doctor. I had to hear about it and confirm with my pharmacist. Look up the Lambeth conference. There was a time until 1930 approximately when all Christians were united with the Catholic church and her Apostolic tradition against birth control. Most people don't know that either.

I took plan B yeeeeaaaars ago. I had no idea what it was. I took it "blindly" ... I was good enough for a man to screw but not have his baby. I have no idea if I was pregnant. I pray I wasn't. I just know the pill made me sick. That was over a decade ago. And as of late, I was telling my husband that I wonder if I was. Did I abort my baby and didn't know it. I was told I would NEVER have kids, by several doctors. So I pray whatever they saw then, was such at that time. Now, I have had 5 babies. I am grateful for every baby. We aren't done yet. But I pray to The Lord that it was nothing. The pill just went through and made me sick but there was never fertilization.

@@1Whipperin I feel like you're abusing that section of scripture. I've seen your comment on multiple apologia videos. Are you suggesting that any form of evangelism, apologetics, or political lobbying is casting pearls before swine? I think you're extrapolating too much from Matthew 7:6, it seems to cause you to see no value in reaching out to any lost unbeliever. If I am wrong, I do not wish to strawman, so please explain why all of this evangelism seems like a pearl before the swine. What do you think swine refers to in the text? Every single unbeliever?
@AlftraZignTriOxide
@AlftraZignTriOxide Жыл бұрын
@@1Whipperin that's a good point, however Romans 10:14 states "How then shall they call on him in whom they have not believed? and how shall they believe in him of whom they have not heard? and how shall they hear without a preacher?" Scripture calls us to expand the kingdom of our Lord, and we must do that by guiding the lost with evangelism. I think to claim that Matthew 7 is arguing against proactive evangelism is to ignore our calling to spread the word. Paul didn't wait to be asked about his faith and neither should we. I think in light of the rest of the New Testament, Matthew 7 isn't arguing not to proactively evangelize, but to recognize when your words are lost on a prideful unbeliever. I think it's laying the groundwork to allow the believers discretion to move on without guilt. Not every unbelievers heart is clay, some are wax as ours were and were meant to find the wax.

Caiaphas, do you see the difference between the Age of Judgement and the Age of Mercy? The kinds of arguments that the Skeptical Spirit comes up with, (in order to accuse The Highest Authority), are coming from a place of assuming God is not defined as His believers say He is: able to create Life. In OT times God acted out the Just side of His character, while crafting a culture He could be born into without being killed! The Age of Mercy came after His act of sacrifice created a WAY for us guilty humans to approach Him and be saved to Eternal Happiness in His Home! (:D God did set things up so that parents have control over the new Humanity they create. It is hurtful to their own souls to destroy any of their children, since they don't have the power, as God, does to give them new bodies and take them home to Heaven. . Even if you design a leggo toy, you reserve the right to make over a flawed project. If a baby were born to some culture that was about to throw them into Moloch's jaws, or make a slave of them, or teach them to be Moloch-worshipping murderers, can you blame God for just taking them home right away, and causing Israel to set up a better way of doing things once the deceived and murderous society was done away with? Once again, God can give everyone a new and better body when they leave earth, and ten out of ten people do in the end, right?...

This conversation was interesting b/c it demonstrates exactly what the Bible tells us about we as sinners - man loves darkness. Errol *admitted* multiple times that he essentially doesn't want to know God, and Jeff is right, the is the heart of it. Errol spent a lot of time making incoherent, unscientific, and emotion-driven arguments, yet he claimed at the beginning that he is going to use "reason". Ive talked to and debate a LOT of atheists and at the end of the day if they are pushed they will admit that they don't want God. Evidence for God is not the issue, the issue is with the heart. We are comfortable in out sins and don't want to be accountable for them. Errol doesn't realize that Satan has him exactly where he wants him, fulfilling a life of sin that he mistakingly thinks he is unaccountable for. Errol needs prayer.

Atheists choose to believe that way because it allows them to live any lifestyle they like with no ramifications. Where it falls down is that the survival of the fittest philosophy that comes with it means if I can murder someone and get away with it, including his wife and children, its just nature discarding the weak.

I believe God is speaking of the U.S.A when He describes Babylon as "having shed the blood of the innocence". Therefore, If we don't stop abortion, we as a nation will be punished. If we as a nation repent and obey, He will forgive us and bless us once again. God is clear. If we turn our back on Him, He will turn His back on us.
@therealzacharnold
@therealzacharnold 5 жыл бұрын
@Nick Jones God can justly punish people who are willfully in sin. The bloodlines were also tainted by fallen angels and it produced nephilim. Also babies who die are innocent and never had the choice to turn from God and consciously disobey Him. They are brought to Heaven by the grace of God.
@therealzacharnold
@therealzacharnold 5 жыл бұрын
@Nick Jones Yes, He is omnipotent, but He also gives us free will. In the scripture it says that Noah was a righteous man and walked in faith. This is why God showed him and his family favor. Can you imagine a world filled with so much evil that there is only ONE man that is worthy of God's mercy? Now like I stated before, God shows mercy to those incapable of making a conscious decision to choose him. So those babies are in Heaven. Let me ask you this, if God is the giver of life, does he not have the right to take it away as well? We know that He is just in all his ways, but loving at the same time. The wages of sin is DEATH, but God in his mercy is so patient, not wishing any to perish, but for all to come to repentance. You see, we as sinners all deserve death, but God wants us to turn from that life, come to Him, and repent. God does not want robots that love Him. He could have easily made all mankind have to love Him, but that wouldn't be true love. I'm sure you can agree that whether it's your significant other or your child or whoever, you would not want them to love you because they have to. This is why God made the decision to create us with this free will, that He knows, we will use to disobey Him. On a side note, death is merely the gateway into the afterlife we are headed for. You are probably terrified of death, even if you won't admit it. Because you don't believe there's anything after this life. I am called to have no fear of death because I know what God has in store for me.
@therealzacharnold
@therealzacharnold 5 жыл бұрын
@Nick Jones Yes, with His sovereign power He could have cleaned up the bloodline divinely. That still doesn't change the fact that it says these people were evil and it had gone on too long. That does not debunk what I'm saying at all because like I said, people have the free will to deny God and God is just to do with them, within His nature, as He pleases. A mother and father produce new life through sex in a sense, but life is ultimately only possible and created by Him. I'll use your own argument, why is it wrong for the God of the universe, who is the author of life and the only one who can bring life from death, to take somebody from this life into the next, but it is okay for a woman of the earth to choose life or death for her baby? I do not condone murder in any sense and God does not wish any to perish. You need to understand God's nature before throwing labels on Him.
@therealzacharnold
@therealzacharnold 5 жыл бұрын
@Nick Jones 1. You're right, to believe in God's sovereignty, you must first believe there is a God. We can get into the proof of a creator if you would like, but would you agree that if there IS a God, then He would have to be sovereign, right? A being that created all things, knows all things, and is in control of all things? 2. Just because God could control everything divinely, such as miraculously cleansing the bloodlines, does not mean that He is unjust when He does intervene. For the most part, He does not intervene like that because He respects our free will and wants us to choose Him in faith. Aside from the belief that the bloodlines were tainted by fallen angels, God still has the right to justly do with the wicked as He sees fit, does He not? Who is man to question what God does with him when he is in willful rebellion against God? 3. I never said that babies were sinners. Nice assumption but I said that they are in willful rebellion once they are CONSCIOUS of that choice. That comes with development of the brain. Just because these babies who were born of sinners but not sinners themselves probably perished in the flood, does not mean that God is wicked. They unfortunately were subjected to it because they were in the fallen world; but because they WERE WITHOUT SIN, God is gracious and brings them to Heaven. How would sanctification be possible, and how would we turn from our sin towards God if He protected us from every evil thing of this fallen world? God is just and let's us reap the consequences of our sin, sometimes using His own hand to punish as we see with the flood. Stop focusing on the fact that people died in the flood, and ask why God flooded the world. 4. Yes, you and your wife played a big part in the creation of your children, but God is the one ultimately responsible for that to even be possible. He is also the one who knits us together in our mother's womb and creates our spirit. DNA is the instruction manual of our bodies and is so complex that it couldn't have possibly been by accident. The kind of information that DNA provides is of the highest kind of information, it sends an understandable message to the body on what to create. How could that sort of complex system happen by accident? Answer- it can't. For every single part of our body to work, it would have had to of been created all at once, not over billions of years. New information can never be added. It can only be mutated or removed. A being can not create something like eyes to see without that information to begin with. It is a scientific impossibility that life can come from nothing as evolutionists claim. It had to have come from a creator that breathed His life into it. 5. I do not condone murder or rape. Neither does God. Your warped perspective has poisoned your mind against God. In your view, you only see things that happen and say that they wouldn't happen if there was a God. We have to be logical though. I'm sure you're a smart man, so I'm asking you to not look at it in any sort of bias and ask yourself what is more logical. Did everything come from nothing? Or did everything come from an eternal Creator? Was there always nothing until there was something? Or was there always something, that created everything? We only get this life to make the right choice, so turn from your sin, seek Jesus and God, the creator of everything, drop the pride act, and repent of your sins against the Father.
@therealzacharnold

@Nick Jones You are a very angry man. The evidence is right there in your face, but it's no use, you have hardened your heart. I am thankful for the peace and patience God has given me through the fruits of the Spirit. I wish you could understand, but you probably argue like this with people on KZfaq every day. So angry, presumptuous, and full of accusations. I am sorry for you. You feel so hurt and attacked that you lash out at people like this, calling them names, claiming they condone things that are detestable to any moral being, and pushing all these arguments that you can't refute to the side by simply claiming that they're debunked. I could tell you a million times that the evidence for God is everywhere, but until you grow up, stop trying to bully people online, and let go of this childish temper tantrum pride, you will always be blind to it. You aren't ready for the truth because it doesn't fit your preconceived ideologies. You don't even have a foundation on which to base your moral standard. So how can you say that anything is immoral or moral? God is the absolute truth in which absolute morality comes from. You can't make a moral argument from your belief. As a man, your family needs you to be the foundation for the family, and it's sad to say but you are not in a position to be that for them. They are going to look up to you and your beliefs, but because of your pride, you will lead them astray. That is, if you haven't already. I will be praying for you because I truly do not want you to perish. You have attacked me and ridiculed me numerous times, but I am called to still love you as a man made in the image of God. Praying that you come to see the light and that your deeds be exposed.

@bcshu2
@bcshu2 5 жыл бұрын
Why do we know jumping off a high building doesn’t end well? Evidence. Having evidence behind beliefs is valuable. Faith, belief in the absence of evidence, is anything but liberating. It’s anything but valuable ... it’s downright dangerous. Evidence, science and reason will put a man on the moon. Faith will put nineteen hijackers flying into buildings.
@bcshu2
@bcshu2 5 жыл бұрын
Jonathan Oliva wherever you wish to reside your origination of faith does not detract that faith is believing in something without evidence. No where in life would a reasonable individual decide this is a good operating principle in life as it would allow for beliefs we otherwise would never accept. Faith allows otherwise good people to do the most vile evil things. Religious actions provide the greatest examples of these. The suicide bomber community is wildly represented by those who act according to their faith. The genital mutilation community is full of individuals for whom faith informs their actions.
@bcshu2
@bcshu2 5 жыл бұрын
cloud nine I am sorry, but if you are making the correlation of having some evidence in something and that is where you will allow you acceptance in that reality being true to originate from than that isn’t faith. You use many examples to show this. I will use one myself. Someone might say I have faith my wife loves me. No, no I don’t. Faith is not what I have because I have all their evidence that I use to formulate my reasoning on. I see these tiny little emotions in the way we communicate. There are all these little examples of things she will do to make my day better. It’s all pieces of actual evidence and they build up which allow me to conclude she loves me. Evidence and reason ... not faith. You are trying to explain how we use evidence and reason to conclude something and squeezing in the concept of faith as the result. Sorry, it doesn’t work like that. You don’t sit in a jury and listen to the two sides for weeks, go through mountains of evidence and testimony and come out on the other side saying .... the man is guilty, why? Cause I have faith. No, you say the man is guilty because I believe the evidence clearly demonstrates he did the crime. I invite you to dig deeper and witness what faith actually is. Faith is taking a position inspite of absolutely no evidence. For if you actually had evidence ... you wouldn’t need faith.

@bcshu2
@bcshu2 5 жыл бұрын
@@pilgrimwings1295 So using words like blind faith or reasonable faith don't change the definition of what it means to have faith. Again, and not mocking at all, faith is the belief in abstention of evidence. Now if you are claiming that there is evidence of a Creator, that is a different thing entirely. You proceed to use the design found in nature as evidence of a creator. This is easily refuted because we have come to understand the natural, slow, processes which give rise to complex designs we see in nature. Evolution, the slow, without purpose or end result in mind, builds on improvements overtime that results in the hugely complex and varied examples of design all around us. It is without a top down driven purpose, it is based upon basic, understandable and predictable laws. The literature on this is voluminous and incredibly powerful in its predications. A rather wonderful PBS video concerning the teaching of Creationism in classrooms touches upon these issues ... KZfaq ... Judgement Day : Intelligent Design on Trial. To venture to another concern. It may be impactful for a believer to look at the universe and claim that a designer is required to explain this baffling state of being. But these people are left with a huge hurdle to explain. However unsatisfying the explanations that modern scientists come up with to explain the origins of the universe ... simple beginnings that slowly gave rise to more and more complex features .... for example, hydrogen atoms over millions, billions of years coalescing into groups which grow in size and attract even more hydrogen atoms until a critical mass is achieved and a star, like our sun, is formed ( which we can observe happening today ) ... however difficult to accept this reality may be ... that the universe began from simple beginnings and over time natural processes gave rise to more and more complex features .... postulating the most greatest of all complex things pre-existed outside the universe that gave rise to the universe is even more astounding to believe or explain. You do not get to satisfactory answers by postulating even more complex, HUGELY complex things, from the outset. And by any measure, any God outside the universe and within demands just that. Now, a natural response is that God exists beyond the universe and therefore does not require to adhere to the same processes or systems as within. That he predates the universe, time and all understanding and therefore DOES NOT REQUIRE explanation. What this person does is simple decree that this is the case and does not do any favour to his so called explanations. It postulates that an explanation is not required. That it is true because it is true. Its a tautology ... a circular argument and one that is not subject to being disproven. It can neither be proven nor disproven. This is ... faith! There is no evidence, nor will there, but I believe it to be true because I have faith. And hey, thats fine, just as long as we don't true to hide it. Stand for what you believe and why you believe it. Faith. No evidence. I believe because I have faith. The evidence that a dog is a complex creature or the tree is NOT evidence in favour of a designer. We have not just satisfactory answers to why these things are the way they are ... we have the tool which makes accurate predictions time and time again. Just like we can explain gravity, germ disease, how to evolve dogs to form different breeds, why bacteria are the way they are and how to morph them, we understand how the complexity of design has come about, the processes that work towards that and what it all means to any number of questions ... like why men and women are different! Google the PBS show and please enjoy its level headed description of the issue of intelligent design versus evolution.

@Nerv 001 Amen and God Words proves we don’t move. But satan wants us to believe we are flying 66,600 miles per hour and spinning 1000 miles per hour. All lies .

Love both these guys. You keep loving Errol, Jeff. He will open his eyes one day and see that beautiful bright light that you shine all the time that reflects the abundance of the Holy Spirit you have inside you.

Who is there to harm you if you prove zealous for what is good? But even if you should suffer for the sake of righteousness, you are blessed. And do not fear their intimidation , and do not be troubled , but sanctify Christ as Lord in your hearts, always being ready to make a defense to everyone who asks you to give an account for the hope that is in you, yet with gentleness and reverence; and keep a good conscience so that in the thing in which you are slandered, those who revile your good behavior in Christ will be put to shame. For it is better, if God should will it so, that you suffer for doing what is right rather than for doing what is wrong. For Christ also died for sins once for all, the just for the unjust, so that He might bring us to God, having been put to death in the flesh, but made alive in the spirit; 1 Peter 3:13‭-‬18 NASB

I feel like Jeff was really ministering to Errol. Toward the end you could tell he was getting through to him. I hurt for guys like him. They have been turned off by the church and have chosen a life without God as a result. Pray God opens his eyes through Jeff’s ministry 🙏
