I can bet if this woman had had her child she would understand. No amount of education or travel can compare to having that precious child. WD 40 I’d disagree. You can certainly defy the odds and do well, but the best course of action is adoption so the child ends up in a stable, 2 parent household. Also, getting pregnant at 17 isn’t a good thing to follow, hence why women should hold back more from men, trying to save sex for marriage so you have a better chance of him being “the one.” Again, doesn’t diminish the goodness of the OP’s actions of caring for her child rather than choosing abortion, but it can also be true that her situation began with a mistake (fortunately ending with a thankfully strong mom and good kid)..
