This is one of my all time favorite videos. Firstly, you showed so many planting combinations that I now have tons of inspiration! Aaron was hysterical throughout the video and Laura during the final walk through loved every container SHE planted herself. You two are a great team!

This is far and away THE BEST CONTAINER video I have ever see - so instructive, but the high point is watching Aaron doing his first plantings, and in front of all of us, what a great guy! Whenever he appears in your videos, I get this sense of centered calmness: "a man like a mountain" - who can BE himself no matter what's thrown his way. The pots are all so beautiful- can't pick a favorite and can't wait for update video!!!! Well done

P.S. I planted my first hanging baskets this year!!! Initially only used 3 plants but I’m like Laura, I don’t want to see dirt lol so I went back and reconfigured and added 2 more per container for a total of 5 superbells in each pot. Very much looking forward to seeing them fill out.

Aren't the plants too small for the pot? Won't they die bec all the water will sink to the bottom leaving the soil around the plants dry????? Plesse help!

There does seem to be a hesitation and learning curve for newbies. Once you start working with plants, pots, and gardens your confidence and excitement grows. This was the cutest - watching the husband of such an amazing gardener dive into his first potting experience. I'm sure it gave many new to gardening the encouragement to give it a try. Good job!

My take away...."You do you" & "There were no rules". This was hilarious I enjoyed! I'm an asymmetrical girl living in a matchy-matchy world...I JUST LOVE THAT ALL THE CONTAINERS ARE DIFFERENT AND ARE NOT MATCHING!!! I think this should become a Garden Answer tradition! Fyi...I found some black taro at Walmart....I know it's a stretch but perhaps check it out...they were in one gallon cans.

Awesome Aaron and Laura! this was super fun to watch the two of you planting the containers and I like the many different variations, I'm so excited to see each one as it grows and changes, I think that's what is fun about all of us having different likes and color likes and just being unique in our designs. I love the two of you as you went through this fun process and the banter and comments between pots. So much fun to see Aaron on the other side of the camera, great job you two.
