Salt water soul for real. Its in us to jump in the water after a fish. My brother was trying to revive a 14 inch speck on Sunday that was wounded. He let it go and I grabbed it out the water threw it in the chest and made a sandwich out of it.

That’s fishing at it’s finest. I’ve known some people who would’ve of packed up and left for the house after breaking their fishing rod but the sign of a true professional you stayed the course and redeemed yourself, it’s not the same as the one that got away but we all saw it hang in there you’ll get em next time. Well that sucks. Little too big to flip with ultra lite tackle. Had it happen once while crappie fishing. Hooked a good size hybrid and snapped the little slab master in 2. Lost fish as well. Happens to the best of us.
