"The Texas City Dike will be closed for the Texas City Triathlon beginning at 10pm on September 30, and will remain closed until 2pm on October 1." Tight Lines and Full Limits To Ya. 🎣

It's really fun when you go on full moon, rig 2 glow in dark plastics 6 inches apart, put right on light to glow, and YES, catch 2 trout at same time. That's a rush.

MY DAD TAUGHT US TO CLEAN UP AFTER OURSELVES WHEN WED GO FISHING. MY DAD HATED THE IDEA OF STUPID LAZY ASS PEOPLE TRASHING AREAS OF FISHING. ORIGINALLY FROM HOUSTON SAYING HELLO TO YA FROM BLAINE TENNESSEE, RETIRED. AND I DON'T MISS HOUSTON TOO HOTT. ITS 42 RIGHT NOW. BEAUTIFUL WEATHER. GREAT VIDEO.

Hey Mark! Thanks for the awesome video! I felt like texas city was always hit or miss until I think I found a trend there! I've always had luck on a strong incoming tide or right at high tide and about 2 hours after! My guess is the stong incoming tide forces small bait fish to hide in rocks bringing them closer to you. I believe this leaves better ambush points for larger predatory fish to feed off of them. I like to use live bait, mainly shrimp. But I've had some really good flounder bites off a downsouth lure. The shimmer swimmer with some procure should do just as good! I hope this can help you and your subscribers out!

Just a thought! when we fish the Dike at night and use lights we don’t fish in the lights we fish outside the lights. We seem to notice the big fish were in the shadows of the lights and would wait for the little fish and small bait to run in and out of the lights. We caught more big fish fishing the shadows. Just a thought!
