उस टाइम देश के प्रधानमंत्री अटल बिहारी वाजपेई जी ने कहा था कि दिल भी जीतो और खेल भी भारतीय टीम ने ऐसा ही किया ,टेस्ट सीरीज भी जीती थी ।। मेरे बचपन का सबसे यादगार दौरा था ये भारतीय टीम का ।। मेरे प्रिय खिलाड़ी राहुल द्रविड़ जब खेलने आते थे तो मै एक सेकंड भी रेडियो से दूर नहीं जाता था ,पूरी की पूरी टीम बढ़िया थी ।।दादा की कप्तानी का हर कोई कायल हो गया था ।।इरफान पठान और बालाजी इस दौरे की खोज थे ।।बालाजी पाकिस्तान में काफी प्रसिद्ध हो गए थे ।।लक्ष्मण पूरी सीरीज में फ्लॉफ लेकिन लास्ट मैच में उन्होंने कमाल की बैटिंग की और टीम को जीत दिलाने में योगदान दिया ।।युवराज ,कैफ फिल्डिंग में टॉप रहे ।।सेहवाग ,तेंदुलकर का खौफ तो अलग ही था ।।जाहिर टीम के लीड बॉलर थे ओर समाननिय भी ।। ऐसा लगता था मैच के दौरान जैसे देश में कोई त्योहार चल रहा हो ।।टीचर भी स्कोर बता देते थे ,।।क्या दिन थे ।।मेरे पूरे घर की दीवारों पर द्रविड़ के साथ पूरी टीम की फोटो लगी रहती थी ।।उस टाइम क्रिकेट एक अलग उत्साह तथा खुशी देता था जबकि आज तमाशा सा लगता है ।।

That time every single match is like a world cup final, no matter it's a test, odi or t20, everyone give equal contribution for team, some time sachin, sehwagh gets wicket in bowling, some Irfan patan, zhahir khan play important innings in batting. every players first priority is nation, rather than record, really i miss that old cricket days, 😢😢 after india England semi final, i avoid to see cricket on tv and watch the old matches of old team india, because it's more thriler than today's matches, that time in t20 130-150 are enough to defend some time, in odi 180- 250 are enough, today in t20 215- 220 are also chase very easily, in odi 400 also chase, in test that time 500- 600 are scored in first innings, today it's only 350- 400
