This was the first test of the three test match series of Pakistan against Australia at Colombo, Sri Lanka in 2002. Shoaib Akhtar bowled with lightning fast speed and brilliant figures of 5 wickets for 21 runs in the second innings. He took eight wickets in the match. This was one of the fastest and destructive bowling spells ever.

shoaib was rarely given the new ball, wasim/waqar would always take the first 10 overs, then shoaib would bowl after. if he was opening bowler, he would have taken many more wickets.

to all those very young kids, if that ball to Gilchrist was 90 how on earth are Bhumra or Starc bowling in the 90s? Also, this is not even HD. the bowling machines are not the same. With new machines Lee, Akhtar would have been at 110s
