If you're looking for a coast hike that will have you diving for clams and diving for lobster, then this foraging adventure is for you! We'll explore the shorelines of Cornwall South West England, learning about the ecology and history of these areas while we hunt for fresh seafood. Whether you're a beginner or a seasoned diver, this is an adventure you don't want to miss!
We of course finish cooking some of the amazing Scallops and Crab on the shore off the beautiful coast of Devon. Thanks for watching!

Re your comment about a boat. You are 100% right. I have a small rib and although it’s nice to go out with the family a couple of times in the year, 99% of the time when I go spear fishing, I do so by walking/driving to my favourite spots. Boat needs so much more thought and work both before and after that most of the time I just can’t be ars@d.

Mate a water man from the pacific when I say that I mean the entire South Pacific blessed. Moved to UK at 23 from Nz have a family now living in Henley. I had no idea you could hunt and forage a feed catch and cook. I feel reborn thank you brother blessed

Very interesting to see that the bottom around the wreck where you picked those scallops is the exactly the same sort of bottom to look for halibut once you’re in the northern part of Norway!

Beautiful video and commentary. If you are a diver you will understand what Joe means in his words ❤ when you're in the ocean you feel how really small you are and understand the greatness of it. Good job mate keep them coming Ps. I got a good Pollock last weekend a bit bigger than yours and only in 5-6m depth You need to come some day down to Ireland and we can do some diving around Kerry.

Every summer I spend a month or two alone somewhere in Arctic Norway, usually an desolate island or hiking along the coastline, living off a bag of rice, a bag of onions, a couple of lemons, a few spices and whatever I catch or gather spearfishing. Nice and quiet. By the end of summer I usually visit a friend and we go for bigger halibut. You can do halibut from the shore if you’re in the right place at the right time … been thinkinhg about Scotland for this summer though …

Nice seafood selection there. That was a long swim. I remember doing a 4hr 30 min round trip on our south coast cliffs once towing an 8lb bass back. When I got to the beach I could not stand I had to sit there for 10 minutes to recover :) Great video again

Hi Joe. Another great video, thanks. What a varied dive spot. A couple of thoughts. A chef friend of mine said the biggest blunter of knifes is dragging them over chopping boards and suggested always using the back of the knife. For the linguine you made, we use a small amount of the pasta water as it helps bind the sauce and give it a bit of a thicker texture. Look forward to the next video.
