I don't particularly know, other than both games are from bandai namco. Additionally, if you are playing on pc check the jukebox at the base there are some god eater songs in there. I dont know if its the same on consoles though.

They are connected. Code Vein takes place in the US, while God Eater takes place in Eurasia. Code Vein takes place in the same year as God Eater 1. It is hinted at that the Bloods from God Eater 2 are actually based off a modified BOR parasyte which allows them to use Blood Arts, which are basically just Gifts from blood codes, which is why in God Eater 2, a god eater can actually come back to life like Romeo did. Sadly that connection can never be confirmed since Code Vein 2 is STILL shelved. Another give away is that Louis and Lindow are both from the Amamiya clan.
